A part of me wonders how DBS would be if it didn't have an atrocious production schedule. But I think the biggest thing that put me off Super is... I'm not a big fan of the artstyle.

It just feels hyper sanitized or just bad until the Goku Black arc, and only really gets really good in the ToP.

Of the main 5, looks visually the least appealing.

You know, hopefully this doesn't come off in a weird way or something, but something I'm gonna miss with Kevin Afghani as Mario is Martinet's internationality. Allow me to explain:

Martinet was a very cultured person, and I mean that genuiely. He learnt as many languages as needed and even held entire interviews without speaking English entirely:

It was quite cool and close-felt that the main voice of the biggest gaming icon was also someone who dared to go beyond their comfort place and educated themselves to as much of their audience as possible.

Would love It if Kevin Afghani managed to go to such extents eventually, ngl.

It's insane. I was in this server, and people were going crazy over the IGN score saying stuff such as "now people will think only about the IGN score and not the rest of the great scores"... And I was like "uh?".

I genuiely doubt the average buyer of a Mario game really cares about the review score of one internet outlet in specific... At best I could see a parent comparing reviews on the Google News section to see if It is worth the 60 bucks for their kid.

This also happened when the movie came out and was very mid.

Oh no Sonic fans also suck, don't get that wrong, but it is noticable Mario fans are seemingly getting more toxic. Probably some social commentary to be made there

Sometimes I feel as if the internet, unintentionally at first doh, is designed to be this downward spiral of hatred and negativity.

Even my mother says that she has been reading about a lot of celebrities and big people dropping out of all social media because It is becoming too wild over these sites such as Twitter or Facebook.
Not to mention people such as Elon Musk, Zachari Levi or Ben Shapiro spreading hate-speech on their platforms. I know very well from personal experience that falling into their Rabbit holes is too easy if you are very young. I was very lucky to get out of It as soon as I did.

It's not just Brothership but Jamboree got a 2/5 which said "If you like these kinds of games, you'll enjoy this" which I've seen people act as if it were inexcusable

I mean, that means they agree with the issues the reviewer had with the game, not that they saw a low number and used that as basis for their enjoyment. It's a hit or miss game like most of the series

Dragon Ball Super is peak if you read the manga. The Tournament of Power could’ve gone without immediately taking out Krillin and Tien (they really hate the humans in this series holy ****) but we got Roshi vs Jiren and Gohan vs Kefla. The Goku Black arc was also done differently and went in a better direction imo.

You also got two new arcs that probably won’t be adapted to anime for another five to ten years.
