Getting some exercise definitely helped me feel a bit better. As did looking up more mutuals on BlueSky.

Am playing Sonic Generations before I get into Shadow Generations and I forgot both how stiff Sonic can be at times and just how many collectables there are. I remember being really good at the game almost a decade ago, so it bums me out a little bit to keep missing most of the alternate routes in each stage.

Not familiar with the series but tbf, but hardcore fans will always find more faults with a game because they look more closely and have more time to compare it to their childhood faves.

I'm watching a playthrough and yeah, it's pretty amazing.

While the main party being so well-done was expected, I was surprised just how much effort went into the worldbuilding.

I haven't heard much but this pretty much what I meant with the Dream Team stuff lmao, loved that game the first time I played it. Second time less so. Still, I heard it's got the tech issues with decently long loading times for fights being a pain for some players

The worst part is that they're getting friggin Simon Kinberg, the guy who screwed up the Phoenix Saga twice over in the X-Men film series, for it.

Hopefully this gets cancelled like so many of those other announced SW movies that went nowhere (i.e David Benioff and D. B. Weiss of Game of Thrones fame were supposed to produce one at one point, for example).

Usually I feel ambivalent towards these kinds of posts of yours.

Not this time. I have no faith that these movies are gonna be any good after the past few Star Wars projects I've seen, which made it very evident that Disney has learned nothing from their failures with the sequel trilogy. I used to love this franchise but every new announcement related to it just makes me sick to my stomach and I wish they'd just let it die.

Legit though, I don't know what else they can even do with Star Wars.

The Vader storyline is done, Ben Solo's villianry is done, Palpatine is (hopefully) done, and most of the shows are either midquels or prequel expansions.

Like are they gonna reboot the whole franchise with little to no ties to the preceding movies? That... would be interesting.
