I just don't think they did a good job at making a 3D action game by just giving Kirby a z-axis.

It was critically lauded and performed well financially as well.

To be fair, the concept could allow for some very interesting exploration of many different emotional themes. The human mind is an interesting place.

They won't do that, though. This'll just be another cash-grab sequel

I mean it was pretty popular back then and has been a huge cult following movie recently, so I can see why they would do it. It was definitely under appreciated in its time originally though.
