Booster's just a gimmicky fight like Punchinello.

Use the Mario/Bowser/Mallow triple move and a few more moves that hit everyone and then you're dealing with just Booster on his own. Since you'll be able to hit him each turn he should at most only get one more train move in.

Pokemon Masters dev team just casually announcing that they're working on a rougelike battle mode that isn't tied to any event and is replayable. If they do this right and have true randomly generated battles or at least a large enough pool of opponents, this could be an amazing new hook for the game.
