Late on my reaction but Mario Wonder looks great! Even if there’s still a little too much of Nintendo playing it safe here. Surprisingly. Mostly in level theming and the main villain. Hoping the non-bowser bosses are at least interesting.

Feel kind of bad for all those people who drew fan art of the other characters as other animals due to a misinterpretation of the statement about the Elephant Fruit. And gotta admit, while I don’t mind Nabbit not having powers because he’s Nabbit, Yoshi not getting an official Fire Flower form is a bummer.

But hey! Toadette is here! I was hoping she would show up! Now all we need is Wario and Waluigi as DLC.

I do wish you could play as the “normal” Toad color though (blue jacket, red spots).

Would be cool to give Buckenberry and Alagold more unique Paper Mario-esque designs. Might have to do that myself.
