Just found out there was a third Batman vs TMNT comic series and they go full Amalgam with it.

normal Batman had a 3 part crossover with the IDW Turtles, the 2012 Turtles crossed over with Batman TAS, new versions of both for the movie, and then Injustice 2

As for the actual anime from the past...they totally became a Wolverine mecha

better question is...why even bother making a show intended for a movie that is likely not canon

It’s sad that Jimmy Neutron, a movie and show that came out almost twenty years ago, looks better than this show does

Jimmy is one of 2 entire shows from Nick with perfectly animed CGI shows, TMNT being the other obviously (tho Barnyard was the good **** as well)

2012 series dissed the hell out of this movie multiple times (even dissed the elevator scene in Season 4 and made it ao Megan Fox exists in their world)

Random fact from me.

I've pretty much came to accept that most cryptids are likely not real and now pretty much see them in the same vein as mythological creatures/beings and fiction. In other words, they'll always exist in our imaginations and that's the fun part about it.

We really need a new Ninja Turtles fighting game and given its cast of characters throughout the incarnations. It's one of those franchises that could have a large roster spanning the generations of all franchises.

Notably Alopex, Bludgeon, and Koya from the IDW comics, King Komodo from Mirage, Leatherhead from most incarnations, and of course the mains itself the turtles, Splinter, Shredder, April, and Casey.

It looks like it's trying to emulate 2d animation in a 3d environment, down to the lightning. Which just doesn't work that well unless you REALLY know what you're doing.

Calling it now, the original Youtube trailer will be deleted and reuploaded when the suits see the overwhelming dislike ratio, solely for the sake of maintaining a facade of good publicity. I ain’t sure if it’s gonna work...

We just had a back and forth about how there exists a Final fantasy sub series with Disney characters, which is arguably a dumber idea.

the 2003 turtles in all honestly had a good run overall. Loved how it had character development and story arcs as well as how close it was to the mirage comics adapting some stories from it.

I'll be honest? I actually liked these designs. They felt like actual realistic takes.

And the movies were still better than the live action show itself, which was freaking horrible. And despite enjoying it somewhat(the villains were kind of funny, and it had its moments), the first movie was decent. I haven't seen the second movie just yet, and I heard Rocksteady and Bebop weren't done that well. So who knows. I really liked them in the 2012 series. They were competent characters but still had incompetent moments that made them lovable. That, and it was one of the best designed Shredders(okay, to be fair, the first three cartoon Shredders are all great in their own right. One has some standards, another is a horrible person, and the third one is a horrible person but has a ton of backstory and shows just how bad jealousy can get. And even he somewhat helped saved the day at the end).

I think I remember Mikey looking nowhere near as good as the above image, though? I haven't seen all 4 together in a long time. The movie kind of felt a little meh with the story. Like it tried too hard to recreate it. I'll give Michael Bay credit for making sure they were not aliens, but mutants, though. That would've been just plain silly. That's cool for alternate universes in a show/movie/comic, but when you're doing a reboot movie/show/comic, stick with the basic story. Change it up here and there, but you have a very working and popular core backstory.

Honestly, the most cursed thing about it is how good the sprites look for the concept. (tho I can kinda tell whicher render they used to make those sprites, as in, the Phantom Animatronic renders from 3. Not that's a bad thing in a project like this)
