Ok, so Sonic ****posting died down? Origins out? Time for an honest Mighty take on Sonic:
Sonic CD is not that good, idk why people think it's a top tier Sonic game. Not even Top 10.

I think it's fun if you approach it in a different way than the other classic Sonic games. Figuring out the optimal ways to trigger time travel in order to search for the robot generators and Metal Sonic holograms is pretty satisfying, IMO. The Special Stages are even pretty cool too when you've got a solid idea of the UFO patterns.

See the joke here is that Nerd Pac-Man was written by Ken Pontac and Pontac was arguably the greatest writer to grace Sonic. And also Guh is a nerd.

Layers.

I think it's fun if you approach it in a different way than the other classic Sonic games. Figuring out the optimal ways to trigger time travel in order to search for the robot generators and Metal Sonic holograms is pretty satisfying, IMO. The Special Stages are even pretty cool too when you've got a solid idea of the UFO patterns.

The time travel is cool but my biggest issue is the level design. Collision Chaos, Wacky Workbench, Metallic Madness are just not fun (Wacky Workbench is just terrible), Stardust Speedway is fine but it's confusing as hell, and I'm not a fan of how empty some levels can get. Also the hunt for the transporters isn't fun imo.

Done with another playthrough of Three Houses (Silver Snow)…still the hardest final boss out of all 4 (or 5 counting dlc)

That said, I really hope people are memeing the heck out of Shahid. One of FE's most unintentionally hilarious characters.

A massive shame that Origins isn't as good as it could be, though one really cool thing is that the Drop Dash ****ing breaks Sonic CD's time travel gimmick as you can just drop dash back and forth

Yeah I'm really unsure about getting Three Hopes. Having played the demo I liked the weight feel of the attacks now (easily Koei's best) and the music but that's really it.

And I need to still complete Three Houses anyways.

In other news I've downloaded about 10 games from PS Plus upgrade thing.

So for those who don't feel like reading or are unable to click on the thread:

• The version HeadCannon sent in was not the version we saw
• Sega broke the game themselves (cause they suck)
• The big bug fixes aren't in place because Sega said no delays (also resulting in crunch, which they knew would happen)
• Nobody on the team was satisfied with the product
• There's a good chance this burns bridges and no more Sonic games from them (but he just wants to get the word out)
• (In a seperate tweet) most of his issies come from Sega Of Japan, Iizuka not being one of them

But hey they're not as anal on copyright. Sega does what Nintendont

Finally saw Jurassic World: Dominion yesterday with my mom. Somewhat not what I expected to deliver but still overall enjoyed it for what it was (Especially when it was in Malta, kinda gave me James Bond/Mission Impossible vibes) . Just wished it focused more on the whole dinosaurs and the modern ecosystem given that was what I was expecting.

I'd put it as my fourth favorite this year after Sonic 2, Top Gun: Maverick and The Batman.
