Not too unexpected though, 90% of each category are votes from a group of reviewers after all.

The crazy thing about the SquEnix characters is that they all seem so obvious in hindsight, yet, they're all somehow deemed near impossible to get in.

There's a committee of the same people making most of the decisions that apparently are representative of the opinions of the industry. There is voting involved with TGA but it accounts for a small percentage of what determines the winners of each award.

1. I reckon he's going to use it exclusively against Sephiroth. Omnislash Ver. 5, if you aren't aware is what he does against Sephiroth in Advent Children. Maybe also only if he's in his Advent Children alt since he doesn't use the Buster Sword when he uses Ov5.

2. Kirby absorbing Sephiroth's ability is going to lead to the destruction of all existance!!!

The Diversity/Foreign pick for Best Movie for the Grammys is virtually the same as the Indie Pick for TGAs.

Only there to tell people "Hey, look, we care for the little guy!" Only for it to get steamrolled when it comes to actual awards.

In one word: disappointment. Probably wouldn't even bother watching his trailer. Sorry, but Geno is the one character I really don't want to see, especially now that we already got a Square character in the FP, one who was a much better choice as well.

if Sony is willing to play with that idea...might as well put all the Spider-Man movies into the MCU. Just make it easier for both companies and a sober Tom Holland to all expand on his side of the franchise instead of just separating it.

I have no problem with The Last of Us Part II winning awards. Like, there’s a few of those rewards that I’m like “yeah it deserves that, good for them” but when games sweep the awards like it did, and Red Dead did in 2018, when the previous year was as diverse as it was it makes me sad to see just one game getting recognition. It didn’t deserve ALL of those categories. Maybe a few yeah, but not all.

It’s cool though, just like the Oscars it really doesn’t matter and more often than not the one who wins the big awards usually ends up forgotten along the way.

it’s going to be interesting what they do with the first two films, it’s hard to think of a what if scenario there. Maybe a what if Mysterio was actually a hero. That could be an interesting route to go. Not sure what Homecoming could get though.

first season is only 10 episodes, so they’d have to do a lot to attempt making What Ifs for all 22...and 23 cause FFH ended the Infintiy Saga...into 10 episodes. Fortunately season 2 is happening
