Okay I thought you were talking about me for a second there and was super confused lol**** is that from Bakugan?
Thank you. Time zones were a mistake.A little over three hours.
Wait... does the pre-show start at 7? Or does the main event start at 7?There's a 30 minute pre show before the main event, BTW.
The pre-show starts at 6:30.Wait... does the pre-show start at 7? Or does the main event start at 7?
Not enough thumbs up ken
Do we know at what point during the show the reveal will be?
Nope.Do we know at what point during the show the reveal will be?
Considering Joker was the last one two years ago, and that made people stay, I would be surprised if it wasn't the last announcement.Do we know at what point during the show the reveal will be?
I'm stealing this gif, thanks
While I certainly don't think it would happen in the slightest, a presentation like this would be the perfect time to pull a Hero/Banjo.Considering Joker was the last one two years ago, and that made people stay, I would be surprised if it wasn't the last announcement.
That would probably destroy the stream lol. While I certainly don't think it would happen in the slightest, a presentation like this would be the perfect time to pull a Hero/Banjo.
Didn't they specify "fighter" and not "fighter(s)?"While I certainly don't think it would happen in the slightest, a presentation like this would be the perfect time to pull a Hero/Banjo.
Might want to direct link that and give a heads up about language if you don't want a warning. This is amazing, I can't stopping laughing.
They did the same thing at E3. The pluralization is nothing to get hung up on. And while I really WANT it to happen, I don't think it will.Didn't they specify "fighter" and not "fighter(s)?"
It's possible, but I don't think it's likely. the fact we even got a forward announcement rather than a shadow drop at the end is pretty nice on Nintendo's part.
I would. I love Goldeneye 007. But I know a lot of people, and I mean A LOT, would absolutely hate it.Would you guys be cool with James Bond getting that Smash invitation?
He's one of the few based upon Literature I'd be okay with. Geralt is the other. I mean, to be fair, there's practically no one anymore I'd be mad at, but those two I think are pretty cool as options.Would you guys be cool with James Bond getting that Smash invitation?
I'm on the 11:30pm timezone, but unfortunately I will be in bed by then.So going by the main clocks as for the time. Going by preshow.
9:30am AEST - for the Australian living on the East Coast that's for.
12:30am CET - If your a mad rebel living in Europe but not Irish, British or Portuguese then this is where you are.
11:30pm GMT - If your Irish or British this is your boat. (Probably just me.)
6:30pm EST - If you are American or Canadian on the East Coast, you are here
5:30pm CST - If you're Central it's your time.
4:30pm MST - Don't know if Mountain Time is still a thing in the US but that's for the ones there.
3:30pm PST - If you are near the great Pacific that's for you guys.
Rest of you lot can figure it out yourselfs. I'm just killing time here to wait.
Idk I'm just watching it cause I have nothing better to do.Oh wow we really are getting a Smash reveal, huh?
nobody wanting Bugs and Daffy in SmashHe's one of the few based upon Literature I'd be okay with. Geralt is the other. I mean, to be fair, there's practically no one anymore I'd be mad at, but those two I think are pretty cool as options.
Anime-wise, so far only Goku I feel is justified. Though isn't another Jump Anime far bigger now? One Piece, I think?
Cartoon-wise, easily Mickey Mouse or Spongebob. They're two of the biggest pillars. Darkwing Duck and Scrooge have amazing games, but they aren't nearly as big. To clarify, when it comes to non-gme media for a character, I'd prefer a cultural icon first. At least it's justified in that way.
...There's a truckload of Comics characters that there's enough icons who either have massively good games or really would fit the cultural part.
Ain't happening, but hey, lots of cool options anyway. I might be missing other super notable Literature options. Key point is they also have semi-notable games in each one listed.
**** won’t matter unless they show off High School Musical: The Musical: The SeriesI'm on the 11:30pm timezone, but unfortunately I will be in bed by then.
Anyways, the Disney Investor Meeting is set to start in a few mins. I highly expect them to talk about their upcoming works on their animation side, Disney+, Pixar, LucasFilm and Marvel Studios.
Honestly? They're notable, but I feel they aren't on the same level as the other two, which are the most iconic cartoon characters. No denying they're like among the ones right below, though.nobody wanting Bugs and Daffy in Smash
Bugs Bunny has been voted the most popular cartoon character in the world for many years in a row.Honestly? They're notable, but I feel they aren't on the same level as the other two, which are the most iconic cartoon characters. No denying they're like among the ones right below, though.
TMNT is another one I'd put in the same category as Bugs and Daffy, though(TMNT are comic, but I'd still call Superman, Batman, Captain America, etc. bigger overall). Respectably notable, but not the biggest you can get. Which is more what I'm going for, biggest possible options. I do admit I didn't even think about them, but you can tell I clearly didn't acknowledge any other plausible awesome cartoon characters.
But hey, YMMV.
As much as i love him, I never thought I’d live in a world where someone considers Spongebob more iconic than ****ing Bugs Bunny or Daffy Duck.Honestly? They're notable, but I feel they aren't on the same level as the other two, which are the most iconic cartoon characters. No denying they're like among the ones right below, though.
