My biggest want has no chance, but there's a ton of great stuff. Geno I'm iffy on, and definitely not 2 characters, but Crash, Doomguy/slayer, League of Legends character, Master Chief, those are all far bigger and more likely for this type of reveal.

Not that Geno is impossible, but unless it's also to advertise a SMRPG re-release, I don't see it happening. I could be wrong though.

Who knows, though. Could be somebody I super want. Could be somebody I shrug on. Could be someone I actually dislike(honestly, that'd be very difficult. Since I don't like anyone actually getting in outright. At most I'd "prefer" a different role). Years of working on games and understanding development changed my tune a lot. It could also be an age thing. ...Not that I'm super-wise, but.

I think it is very likely going to be a third party though.

This is the Game Awards, they would definitely want to promote a larger character.

Joker was at 2018's Game Awards, Hero and Banjo-Kazooie were at 2019 E3, and Steve was probably planned to be a 2020 E3 reveal.

I'm honestly not sure who we're going to get, so i'm expecting anything at this point.

All I hope is that there isn't a leak until it the reveal.

Also the fact they announced this makes me think the reveal has been planned to be here for awhile. So maybe it’s someone fitting of the show.

Which Crash, Doom Guy, Sora, etc could fit the bill, even Jonsey.

One thing is that if this character is a hard hitting third party, and Steve was planned 2020 E3, then the gap between Steve and our next character would be massive.

Pretty sure Wizards101 is, so, hey, chances!

That reminds me I did help with some support ideas for someone's Jump crossover. Sadly due to... reasons, that user is no longer among the Discord. A lot of it was general team-up stuff. I somewhat remember the Yu-Gi-Oh supports relating to the character's ideals/etc. Like Tea relating to friendship.

That does also remind me I should work more on the Quest 64 card game and the Yu-Gi-Oh cards. I only have barely two cards kind of done(for the YGO ones). I just needed to rename one, Hell Hound to Abyssal Hound. Since they're meant to emulate real cards, I try to keep the censoring in mind. Like, other than say, fusion monsters that require Abyssal Hound, it won't take long to have each name done.

If it is a first party, then I feel like Steve was planned for E3 2020, and this character was planned for October.

The good thing is, I'm fine with pretty much anyone at this point, given the roster is already more than great, but even if it's the one character I don't want, at least he'll be out of the way then. I see that as an absolute win.

I'm predicting a dark souls character honestly, I mean Sekiro won game of the year last year so I think Nintendo would expect a positive reaction since FromSoftware made both those games. Also, dark souls is genre defining and I can see Nintendo adding a dark souls character because of that alone.

Tho I wouldn't mind if Estelle or Rex were FP8 instead... That'll be hype!

Anyway, I'm coming off this site until the character is revealed since I don't want to get spoiled. Cya later everyone!

If it is a first party reveal: I'll predict either a Legend of Zelda, a Pokemon Sword/Shield rep or a Xenoblade rep.

If it is third party reveal: Either Ryu Hayabusa or Monster Hunter/Dante.

To be fair, we didn't know if there was going to be DLC news in that show but since we know now I can see it happening at any time.
