It's kind of a bummer that it ends on a cliffhanger but I absolutely loved everything other than that. Every episode was an emotional rollercoaster and the characters were phenomenal.

Question to my fellow SMT fans, do I have to beat the 5th Kalpa before entering the tower of Kagutsuchi or do I have to do it before facing Kagutsuchi? I ask as I want to get the Masakados Magatama before facing Metatron if possible

Before entering the Tower otherwise you get locked out of the Kalpa

In hindsight it makes sense given her not-so-secret love of sweets. I know Falkoopa will be loving this. Surprised they gave her ice cream though, I thought that was more of a Cynthia in-joke. I'm not interested in yet another Marnie alt personally but at least she gets Steel Wish, so she'll be great to pair with the many Steel type Galar units.

Am a little bummed there's no datamine tonight. I'm really curious at just how OP they plan on making a F2P unit like Cyrus and how the new Jukebox mode works (just let us buy the songs/release an album!). Also to see if the speculated Dawn/Cresselia & Cyrus/Darkrai spotlights will come true.

Spoiler: Design Notes

Arianrhod is an old design and it shows. There’s not much to go from visually if we’re talking about Mabinogi but they still could’ve gone with something more interesting than a generic fantasy armor swimsuit. I dig her helmet though, and how hammy all of her quotes are. There’s also a noticeable lack of physical-oriented demon women barring Valkyrie and some Hindu ones so I wouldn’t mind her returning in titles other than Dx2.

The DS era (especially early DS with stuff like Project Rub or Yoshi's Touch & Go) really felt like a time where everyone was throwing everything at a wall and just looked at what stuck. That time was wild and I loved it for this.
