Hello Social Thread.

Yesterday, I was able to get the adapter for my Apple Pencil (Well, it was actually my sister's, but she let me use it). Now I'm beginning to get into digital art. I'm still better with a pencil, but digital art is way more appealing.
Anyway, this was my first drawing.

Just a lil Mii drawing. Kinda wish he was more in the center, but overall, I'm pretty proud, since this is like my second drawing. The only thing I don't like is that the fill button left a tiny white outline (especially noticeable in the hair), which is a massive pet peeve of mine. But like I said, I'm pretty proud.
And yes, you can call this an NFT if you want.

What's crazy to me about bored ape NFTs - and a lot of NFTs in general - is that the images are randomly generated.

Same thing with that company that thinks it can completely replace human voice actors with AI.

I do think there's value in using algorithms and AIs as tools for art. But I get the impression cryptobros don't actually recognize that there's humanity to art. They know that the fine art trade can sell for insanely high amounts of money, but through a soley pragmatic lens they don't get why. So they assume it must just be the scarcity - they think the Mona Lisa is valuable because there's only one true Mona Lisa, and so there ugly monkey must be valuable because there's only one digital token tied to it.

Sorry about that random tangent in the middle of all our memery. I'm not going to gatekeep and say that the bored apes aren't true art - there was at least some human effort and intent put into the assets used to generate them, and it could even be argued that ugliness has its own aesthetic merit to it. But it's abundantly clear that their perceived value has nothing to do with their actual artistic merit.

I want to get N64 online but when the likes of Super Mario 64, both Zeldas, Star Fox and well most have superior versions, just wished Nintendo wised up a bit and well found a way to get them on there.

Yes I know 3DS and dual screens and all. Just wouldn't mind.
