I don't know; I haven't played it.

I've heard that the game runs like ass on Switch though, and Guh-Huzzah's comment seems to insinuate that it still runs like ass, so I'unno. Look up some recent gameplay footage of it and judge for yourself if it's good enough.

Snake, no. This isn't the mentality to have. Even if you agree with Melee being shut down, there's no reason to punish another community who has nothing to do with it.

tbh I'm in a similar boat. They're well within their rights to do what they did... although IMO they went a tiny bit overboard with how they actually dealt with it. Canceling the entire tournament instead of, yknow, asking them first to not do it, then canceling it if they don't comply? Bit harsh if you ask me. At least give them time instead of just pushing the nuke button the moment the ninjas spot illegal activity.

What kind of game are you looking for? I apologize for throwing a long list at you before; I just wanted to include a variety of games to be thorough.

No, that was good. That was exactly what I wanted. I'm just having a hard time trying to figure out which one wins the buy cause I was originally going to get Sam and Max. Until dragonsheers informed me that it got censored to hell.

Anyways, I just want something casual. I don't want a super fast, think a bunch game.

I'm sure Sam & Max would be fine. I'm not sure what's been censored (Bosco has a different voice actor, apparently), but the games are still going to be fun/funny.

Your personal experiences should not be a reflection of the greater community as a whole. This comes across as extremely petty and dismissive of the greater issue.

Remember, a community is not a singular monolith. They are a collective of different individuals.

They nuked boscos jokes from what i have been reading. Removed him commenting on clearing out college students skin head references, his whole vinacular, dialogue options. Etc. And they lied about not making these changes.

A Splatoon online tournament was cancelled (or at least isn't being streamed any more) because a bunch of competitors apparently changed their usernames to #FreeMelee or things like that.

It seems a little hyperbolic to say this is the biggest disaster that a video game company has been in, let alone a company in general (EA's "sense of pride and accomplishment" remark about lootboxes went over much worse), but it doesn't look good for Nintendo. (though I'd argue they were in the right to shut down a tournament that they were sponsoring if it was using a pirated and modded version of one of their games, they told the organizers not to use it, and the organizers decided to use it regardless - it's just the aftermath and the lack of communication that they've totally botched)
