But seriously, Imo that game was ****ing boring. I played the demo and was able to figure out to save my money because I was not having any fun.

I think Star Allies is fun, but it’s kinda just more Kirby without much to set it apart.

Then again, I'm a Kirby diehard, and the game's main appeal is the playable characters and callbacks.

I absolutely understand casual Kirby fans and others thinking the game is lame, lol. It was a huge falloff from Planet Robobot.

I look forward to the Game Awards. It has become a tradition for me ever since 2018. It's not my favorite thing to watch, I'll usually put something else on or play something while watching it, but it's a nice presentation to relax and get some exciting announcements here and there.

I already have one I can use for emulator novelty that I bought for $15 and works well enough. IDK if that controller's shell is worth $50, even if it is wireless.

Plus...GCN controllers and GCN knockoffs are everywhere thanks to Smash making it have a comeback: If you want a good retro controller for things like an octagonal gate and C-button emulation, just buy that is what I'm thinkin', lol.

Star Allies feels like it has a negative for every positive.

Tons of fan service? Not much new considering the game before it was Robobot.

Bonus campaign with a style unlike anything before it? Wasn’t available until like 6 months after Launch.

Its clear the team wanted a more basic celebration of everything Kirby before they went for something completely new with Forgotten World, but it missed the mark in a few key areas.

That said, I still enjoyed my time with it. Especially the elements mechanic.

Yeah, Star Allies is fine...but the level design is just so unimaginative and vapid in order to accommodate more players (even though Return to Dreamland handled it pretty well and still had more inspired gimmicks to set each stage apart), and the overall performance of the game (Why does each door have a load screen and why is the game 30 FPS...with dips?!) is simply inexcusable.

Return to Dreamland still clears all other Kirby games.

Donald and Goofy constantly dying is a completely normal thing and part of the Kingdom Hearts experience.

Goofy becomes God Tier later on and in the rest of the games. Especially if you know how to use him.

Oh I love this accessory (mine's basic red though). If you aren't worried about the lack of rumble and gyro, this is a great thing to get.

I have two Power A controllers that lack rumble, and the wired one lacks Gyro and I use it just fine. I got controllers I can use for things that need gyro or rumble, this is gonna be for traditional games like Metroid or Animal Crossing that I'd play for longer periods at a time. Also for Smash, so I don't have to try and use the Joy-Con's tiny sticks or play with the Switch sitting on my lap with another controller in handheld mode, lol.

The strategy is too just ignore them and dump all your items and stat buffs on Sora.
