finished the Persona 5 anime...and dub being godly aside...I now feel weird looking at anything resembling the vanilla ending (I need that Maruki and Sumire in my life)

Eternal Darkness is an odd case.


A lot of its sanity effects don't really work in today's world if ported 1:1 like how they were in the original(Like the old school TV Volume), but at the same time, the fact that its sanity effects are soo well known would take a lot of the surprise away.


Compare that to Undertale, which, the whole meta aspect of it was pretty unknown at the time and took a lot of people by surprise, everyone knows that Eternal Darkness ****s with you, so everyone would expect the weird **** already, which kinda devalues the surprise tbh.

That’s just the thing. Most if those sanity effects wouldn’t work on Switch with modern TVs. And I for one can’t think of any easy conversions for some of them. Which is why a remake would be so damn tense. You know SOMETHING is coming. But you have no idea what’s a sanity effect and what’s not because their all different. At least, that’s how I see it.

Eternal Darkness didn't sell much. Market it decently and you could draw in new, unassuming players. Also you know, remake it to modernise some of its sanity effects. Besides, only a handful of the effects are actually fourth wall breaks so its not like the whole game depends on making you think you've deleted your save.

Honestly, if I were to do it, I'd go a completely different route and take the PT route.


Have a demo pop up on the Eshop one day, and to people who find it, make it just absolutely **** with people. Once you see the big YouTube explosion, because if there's a dark, gritty Nintendo game that ****s with people's minds, you know that ****'ll be all over YouTube, then you go hard on promoting it.

What if 3D All-Stars limited availability is just some sort of marketing sanity effect to promote Eternal Darkness 2: Electric Cthulhu?

I tried to come back to the Discord server, but I was banned over the dumb debate. And the other Discord sever that I left, according to this post, was destroyed. This was because someone doxxed someone else in that server.

It hurts how this curse that I mentioned keeps on haunting me.

Well, that hurts to see.

The fact that show referenced the bloody video game of all thing shows that the showrunners really gave a damn about it, but Disney sure don't.

Not that I've seen an episode of DuckTales but it's frustrating when beloved shows are subject to network induced suicide.

That's a bummer to hear, was planning on binge watching the series once I got Disney Plus but from what I have seen it seems like an amazing show.

Not sure if it matters at this point but as a fan of Avengers: EMH, at the very least it wasn't seemingly cancelled due to a new executive coming in and killing it off. So hopefully if there is enough demand Disney might listen. I doubt it though because Disney.
