Honestly, it's a show that takes the common tropes of anime of the time and kinda has a laugh at them.


It's an isekai story.... except everything kinda sucks and is pretty damn realistic all things considered.

The main character is the chosen Hero... who's just some guy, and all his party members also kinda suck.


I think a friend of mine explained the show best as Japanese Seinfield. It's a show about bad people living mundane lives, not really doing anything.

I remember reading a chapter or two of the manga many years ago, before the anime years ago, and liked it. Never really got much farther in it though.

Have been tempted to start reading the light novels, but I'm not sure if something more comedic is the best medium.

These are pretty cool, especially the Remoraid/Octillery! My ideas for Sinnohan forms draw from Gen 5-8 Pokemon, since they were never in Sinnoh (but I guess any of them not in the Sinnoh dex itself are safe)

Finished watching Krampus a half-hour ago.

What a guilty pleasure that film is to me. The main highlight of it for me is Krampus' design, the main reason it is so.

Got it! Currently in the process of playing it, having a lot of fun with the game! I'm assuming I'm near the end of the game so I've put a fair amount of time into it.

I'm kinda on the fence with the story but it's still a pretty good experience overall.

i mean, you don't really hear that song unless you're a toddler, and when you're that young the only crown you know is a royal crown. Plus, the Jack on playing cards has a sort of crown.
