I'm not gonna be surprised if I'm the only one without a Padoru avatar at the end of the month lol

I should probably grab a Christmas avatar, too, now that it's December. Never will I cave in to the Padorus though.

Honestly, now I'm actually thinking about it just to spite a few of yous. Eventually it will become PadoruBoards!

However I'm sticking to this one this week and maybe something random as well next week.

Elevator Pitch: Metal Gear Solid Anniversary Collection, Parts 1 and 2

Available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox One. Next Gen versions are "remastered" (graphical upscaling only, pretty much. Oh, and changing the Nintendo and Sony specific easter eggs on other platforms)

Part 1
  • 8-Bit Games
    • Metal Gear (MSX)
    • Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake
  • Metal Gear Solid: Integral
  • Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance
  • Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence
  • Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
  • Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
Part 2
  • 8-Bit Games
    • Metal Gear (NES)
    • Snake’s Revenge: Metal Gear 2
    • Metal Gear: Ghost Babel
  • Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
  • Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
  • Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
  • Metal Gear Solid 5: The Definitive Experience
Make it happen Konami. You might not be making new games but re-releasing old ones? You just did that with Castlevania and Contra! I would buy this for all three systems!

Ah, "One of Us".

This song always bring back good memories of the Smash 4 Speculation days.

Nice to see it again.

Also, finished Vante 2 in DMD, if i'm lucky, next session I be done with DMD Vergil.

And yeah, Vergil truly is broken, I died alot, but his DPS make some enemies that Dante struggle alot to fight (those goddamn spiders) into freakin' jokes.

Glad too that Time Horse is done, this ****** can go to super hell, where you don't even get cookies compared to regular hell.

**** it, and Arkham too in advance.

Christmas ain't gonna start until I hear Slade on the radio. And now that it's happened, I can say that the Christmas has officially begun for me. Time to look for a profile pic now. Padorus need not apply.

So I took what PeridotGX PeridotGX said to mind and drew a few ideas of mine for Sinnohnian forms. I also made some custom Pokedex Entries for them. The drawings are not the best, so please ignore that bit :happysheep:.

Anyways, let's begin.

20201201_161259.jpg

Type: Ice/Flying (For both)

Hoothoot Diamond Description:
It lives in northern climates. Due to the scarce amount of food, it typically ambushes passerby in blizzards for food.

Hoothoot Pearl Description:
It's icy cloak around it's chest keeps it warm. It is said the icy horns on it's head can stop snow from getting in it's eyes.

Noctowl Diamond Description:
It's warm plumage allows it to blend in perfectly with the snow. It is often said to be an illusion due to how gracefully it flies through blizzards.

Noctowl Pearl Description:
It stares down it's prey from inside trees. Once it's sure their guard is down, it snatches them and takes them back to it's den to eat.

Type: Grass/Flying (Swablu), Grass/Dragon (Altaria)

Swablu Diamond Description:

Berries grow from the tuft on it's head and on it's wings. It is often picked on by other Pokemon for it's sweet berries.

Swablu Pearl Description:
Swablu's berries often drop of it's wings. They are picked up and used in cooking very frequently.

Altaria Diamond Description:
It tucks in it's neck and hides, pretending to be a berry bush. Unsuspecting Bug Pokemon who come to eat are snatched up quickly by Altaria in an instant.

Altaria Pearl Description:
It lost the power of flight upon evolving. It's berries are said to be irresistible to any Pokemon.

(Image was accidentally taken upside down. Curse you Phone.)
Type: Electric/Water (For Both)

Remoraid Diamond Description:
It appears lifeless, yet despite that still moves. It does not appear to have sentience of it's own, with it's directions apparently broadcast by an unknown radio signal.

Remoraid Pearl Description:
It often swims to attach itself to Mantine. It sends shock waves to Mantine's brain to control it and bring it back to it's school for food.

Octillery Diamond Description:
It's skin is sea-through, and inside Octillery are various wires and other electrical parts. The lightbulb in it's mouth apparently sends off a signal of some sort.

Octillery Pearl Description:
It controls schools of Remoraid. The lights on it's tentacles are used to lure in unsuspecting Water Pokemon and take them as food. Many swimmers have gone missing thanks to Octillery's misleading lights.

Personally I don't see the appeal of Padoru avatars. Bit too chibi-esche for my tastes. I prefer my avatar images to be facial shots anyway

I hope good videogame adaptations become the next theatrical fad after Super hero movies inevitably die off. Just like how super heroes replaced Spy flicks.

Sonic and Pikachu show potential for this.
