Don't know what it is but I feel it'll be inevitable if we get another animated Mario series down the road.

A series that notably has certain arcs and adventures based on or taking inspiration from the actual games like Superstar Saga, and Galaxy.

A deal would just have to be struck between said company and Nintendo for this to happen or perhaps even NetFlix exclusive.

I wasn't implying a Nintendo Cinematic Universe but as mentioned an eventual animated Mario series potentially for the future featuring a vast cast of its characters like Rosalina, Bowser Jr., Koopalings, Cackletta, Fawful, etc.

Also I find it very interesting how DeltaRune got an immediate spotlight for a free update.

Really showcases Nintendo knows this game is a massive deal. As Toby Fox an Indie developer got a spotlight outside of an indie direct multiple times now above what I’m sure is a decent list of companies wanting in.

The Chapter Two Update releasing almost immediately after it did online is also wild. Especially when I don’t see why he couldn’t have waited the extra few days to release it for everyone.

That really shows Nintendo wants to highlight Toby Fox big time. He even got a job in making music for Pokémon.

Now that could all mean nothing, but….

I could totally see this happening. Toby went to Sakurais house and literally was driven home by Sakurai. So they are pretty good friends to it seems. Also no spirits is super interesting. Especially when Deltarune is on Switch to.

Bottom line, I would not be surprised if Toby made a case for an Indie Rep In smash and due to his seemingly close Nintendo relationship, they were all for Undertale in smash.
