I was just thinking about you.
Sooo, I want your opinion on two things:
-The gameplay, like what team did you use, which fight was the hardest for you & in general what you liked the most about the gameplay.
If you ask that for me, I say that my 3 main team were like Terry/Olan/Nern, then Terry/Olan/Bo & finally Terry/Bucket/Bo. The hardest fight for me was probably Jonathan, due to his crazy agility for a Joy Mutant & The Men Hair Club due to me having no firebomb & still be quite limited at that point in the game.
What I liked the most is how the game reward you for exploring & thinking outside of the box, sure, you get pretty ****in' strong later on, but thinking was each of your teammate can do can be the difference between life or death in some cases.
-The story, to be precise, the ending, since, in my opinion
While it's pretty clear to me that, past a point, Brad stopped being a hero due to doing countless act of unneeded violence and dirty trick to peoples who did nothing to him (Remember that hilarious Bulldozer sequence? Yeah, less hilarious when you think about it for a bit). And in general, he isn't fit to be a father, I can't help but feel at the very least pity for him, since his early life & then the apocalypse shaped him into the person he is today, and while he may not cared enough to Buddy state, he was right by the fact that peoples, good or bad, would use her to their own end. Plus his Joy addiction basically pushed him to do very bad decision at time ( notably if you try to spare Marty or not, he ended up kicking Buddy out of the way and you can even throw bottles at here if you want, sound familiar?) If anything, he is a very complex & interesting character to follow, so it's easy to why some peoples think he did nothing wrong....even though he did ALOT.
The fact you can throw bottles at Rando too is too ironic and sad in a way to not notice, and overall, beside Buzzo atm, I feel pretty bad for all the important characters in those final moment, especialyl since I had my first party back to fight against before the Rando Army. I LOVE YOU TERRY, SORRYYYYYYY. ;_;
The way Brad slowy transform into a Joy Mutant as he gain their skills little by little is horrifying but also pretty cool gameplay wise. Especially since he lose his old fighting style (with Rando having it instead) and he become immune to fall damages, is a brilliant mix of gameplay & storytelling. The fact you can see the trumpet man after beating Rando but before seeing Buddy, also show who is behind the curtain, but I leave that to the Joyful to explain.
In all, I love the mix of humor & dark themes the story had and the pacing was on point, and the ending was well worth it. If there's one good note to end this on, is that I leaved Bo with his brother before starting the endgame. Meaning that whatever you believe Brad actually killed his friends or hallucionations of them at the end, at the very least, he is safe. Thank you for everything, bud.
so yeah, hope what I wrote is good, and really curious to see your opinion on the game like I said.
I mean, when you can do this with them, it kinda makes sense why they would ban it"Sir, Magic Cylinder is considered contraband in 47 states."
Partywise, my party didn't change a whole lot, but it did change. My original setup was Terry/Birdie/Olan, then Bo when I got him, but I didn't realize that taking Bo back to his brother was optional, so I lost Bo and Olan was back on the team. This stayed this way until pretty close to the endgame where SHOCKLORD took Olan's spot. Terry and Birdie are just waaaaaaay too good lol.
Difficulty-wise? Was probably the Beady Joy Mutant in the bath house, or Hawk Hollywood, lemme explain.
For Beady, I knew it was a thing, due to the OST having it on its cover, but up to that point, I had yet to see it, so all of a sudden I open a door and it bum-rushes me took me for a bit of a surprise.
And Hawk? What's soo special about him? Well.... on Pain Mode, he becomes a Joy Mutant, and a REALLY strong one at that, so.... yeah, lol.
As for the story, you're definitely spot on in your analysis, but you're also really only seeing the world through the eyes of Brad.... Joyful, will explain everything, and that's all I can really say.
But I ask
It's calling
Will you answer?

Uhhh, not sure if you can rebind tbh.OK one last thing tag for todayShroob but
how do I rebind the Shift/Run Button to somewhere else in the Joyful? Trying to put it on Z but it doesn't work.
'cuz my PC don't like me pressing the actual shift button for too long.
My current sig reads as followsI have signatures disabled due to them lagging my rig.

You could disable sticky keys if that's the thing that's making your computer freak.
