I didn't want to apply too many effects on the voice, so I just added a bit of echo and reverb. There's also a deeper-pitched, quieter version of the voice overlapping the audio, but it's subtle. I didn't want it to overpower the main vocals, so the main voice your hearing is just me without any pitch shift.

These newfound Nintendo fans would have not survived Splatoon 1's launch. You think Animal Crossing was incomplete? You think Pokemon Snap was unfinished? Theu were lucky they weren't around with the Wii U era.

in fairness, speaking as someone who adores NH, parts of the game are really lacking atm

like, furniture is painfully limited rn and we’re still missing Brewster and Gyroids

but yeah no people saying the game is “trash” because of this are suuuuuuper nostalgia blinded by New Leaf.

I still play the game to this day, it gives me something to look forward to. Besides, it makes sense as to why all the big seasonal things weren’t in the base game, y’know, when it was nowhere near the point in time that you could actually partake in them.

I‘ve personally been enjoying the little model that’s been going on as of late. It gives us a reason to come back whenever we feel like we’ve done everything we can. But that’s just me.

DSPGaming is a boomer. He needs to play all the new games and has no time for retro gaming because he needs those day one views!

This talk makes me a bit curious: to those of you who still play ACNH, what’ your routine normally like? I follow a five-step plan:

1. Visit Able Sisters, buy new dresses
2. Talk to favorite villagers
3. Plant money tree
4. Do the day’s character event
5. Dilly-dally and have fun with whatever else I can think of
