No, the it's just the sequel on sale and I haven't played the original which isn't on sale for some reason.

Fwiw the Sky trilogy is toaster friendly since they're cheap games released during the early-mid 2000s. 3rd doesn't have an English release outside of PC but if you have a Vita and you don't mind following a few steps you can patch the Japanese Vita version into English (though this requires to be below a specific firmware and whatnot). Zero and Azure are releasing on the Switch in 2022-2023 so it's just a matter of waiting for them. As for Cold Steel 1 and 2 they're available in English on the Vita while 3 and 4 are on the Switch. Oh and before I forget here's the play order in case you want to tackle this series beyond Sky

I do want to play Xenoblade 2, I just don't think they sell it anymore for whatever reason. But yeah, the original Xenoblade has always had a lot of positive buzz behind it despite being a very niche title, and I'm sure Shulk's inclusion in Smash played a big part in getting newcomers interested in the series.
Yeah, I've noticed that it's pretty hard to find a physical copy now for retail price. Not sure why they haven't restocked it in a while, especially since you'd think they'd want to squeeze in more sales with Pyra/Mythra being in Smash.
True also weird that they made a crossover yet the only non generic char was starlow i mean add atleast Merlon or heck even kersti!
I'm not usually one to call exclusions strange, given that there are more things not in Smash than in. What I do find funny is that the Bethesda content is from Fallout. Guess Fallout Shelter on Switch really left an impact lol.
