His gimmick should be that his moveset doesn't have anything that came after Smash 64 or else they screwed up.

A big issue for me with that Avengers game is that the character designs are just... horrendous
Either make the asthetics less MCU-y or, if feasible pay to get the actors' liscence.
Instead we've got this weird in between that makes it look like Walmart brand MCU, and I just don't vibe with it.
I'm just saying, maybe a more original artstyle was the way to go with this one

It's a tad misleading because it's just the PC version they're on about but I wouldn't be shocked if the console versions had more tumbleweeds than players either.

On one hand, this could mean no more Marvel games from Square Enix... which makes me sad, because I would've loved for them to keep making games and eventually make a Dragon Quest/classic Final Fantasy-style RPG game with Marvel characters.
On the other hand, hopefully this game's failure, along with Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 being comparatively more successful, will result in future Marvel games no longer trying to outright copy the MCU.

The biggest issue with the game is that it's just ass. They could have just made a normal superhero game like the Batman or Spiderman games, but instead, they made Anthem with the Avengers.
And it was riding off the Endgame and Spiderman PS4 hype, how do you **** up this bad.

And before you say "SoNy OwNs SpIdEr-MaN", that's only the movie rights. Everything else with the character is handled by Marvel proper, last I checked. So despite his recent history with the PlayStation brand, this does feel a tad bit scummy still.

Besides, I don't think Playstation fans even care about Spidey in Avengers anymore considering there's already 2 better Spiderman games on modern Playstation that they can get for cheaper or the same price.

Ah, but context is key here.
Yes, it's only right this moment in time "A little over a month ago", but by the time TGAs hit, it'll be just shy of 2 whole months, and December will push us near 80 days without anything, which is pretty close between "It's ARMs!" and "It's MinMin!"'s time frame.

Then again, there was the whole Terry and Byleth, were Terry was revealed in September and it took Byleth until January to be revealed.

There's reason to assume that Byleth, like Steve, was actually delayed.
A lot of the tournament and Spirit events in December were out of order according to their picture ID, like what happened with Steve, which, actually seems to indicate that Byleth 'could' have at one point been slated to be dropped in December.

I wonder if those Digimon movies that Disney dubbed 15 years ago are ever going to see some sort of release on Blu Ray or on Netflix someday? It would be cool to watch them in a legitimate capacity somehow.

January 21st is 100 days since Steve came out by then, and the longest we've ever had to wait was 101 days, which, ironically, was the wait between MinMin and Steve.Good point. Also the nature of Byleth's trailer itself lends well to a show like VGA and we know other trailers and showings like Half Life Alyx got dropped and shuffled out last year.
