If it’s done right anything can be remade. Resident Evil 2 for example is one that took some insane creative liberties but overall REmake 2 is largely considered one of the best in the franchise now. Just depends on how each remake is approached.

Edit: and actually on the contrary REmake 3 is considered worse than the original so there’s an example of a right way and wrong way to do it.

Make it B and white but with the Pokédex of BW 2. Add some new Pokémon or forms in as well.

Main game is BW. Post game is about the sequels and actually shows Cheren and Bianca slowly work towards becoming their future selves. New cities are there from the start but locked, you play through the region again with a different take on the story, where all the levels for starting events are higher and thus the battles are tougher.

Beating it results in all the extras from the games like Pokestar Stuidos, the world tournament and league rematches.

Or just remake both games because why not?

Essentially. There's a lot different about its structure than say, DMC5. But there's certain QoL choices in later games like faster weapon switching that'd be appreciated.

Then there's stuff like Sonic Heroes which I think would only really need to tighten up the controls and fixing Pinball Hell to really come together. The levels themselves aren't trouble, but your characters moving like coked-up squirrels don't help.

Or Mega Man X7, if it got a 2D version and let you play Mega Man X from the start instead of unlocking him like you would Zero. Mechanically, I swear they only did that because Axl's X7 gameplay is boneless Mega Man X. But a 2D remake could give him his X8 playstyle so he won't be useless anymore.

Oh boy, MMX7 would be a dizzy to remake I feel.

Will say I prefer X6 to be remade, if only because it got alot more interesting stuff that I like to be done right. (better writting, more focus on the new vilain, actual difficulty instead of the extremes we got, etc...)

Seriously though when E3 comes round I remake the server I have made on Discord. Wouldn't mind trying to get round to doing voice chat or something on another server.

I think if I ever go to another place I'll prefer here. Not many forum holdouts have this sense of camaraderie and the big ones are too disconnecting.

And everyone should watch 1917.

MMX6 actually did a lot of stuff really well. It's unfortunate it has so many faults including sub levels you can't even complete with the wrong armor. Despite all that it's in my top 3 MMX games.

Jak and Daxter kid here. I still have hope. They can remake the Last of Us, but take Joel and Ellie and then replace them with Jak and Daxter, and instead of a raging zombie apocalpyse, it's instead a comedy of two best friends traveling the world and kicking ass while learning all the lore of the land

Ape Escape got it the worst here btw. All of the other dead ips here at least ended with a proper sequel (Sly is still stuck on a cliffhanger); Ape Escape died with it's last game being on the Playstation Move 💀💀💀

Yeah, hot take, the Wisps were extremely well integrated into Colors because they made players do something out of the ordinary for a Sonic game; they made them actually pause and plan out how to tackle a situation instead of just mindlessly blasting through a course.

One of my favourite months............not except for E3.

Going by the past seven years I'm due to injure myself knowing my luck. I've a crazy streak of being in hospital around this time of year and it's not funny.

Seriously though they lost of their most original IPs and Kat was PlayStations best female tied with Aloy and both are far better than mopey the world is bad Ellie.
