Hey man, you’re weren’t trying to be condescending to anyone. You shouldn’t beat yourself up over this. I get excited about stuff too, I love explaining crap to people. You just gotta realize how it may look to the other party, and be a tad more mindful.

That's the thing, I'm usually pretty mindful of what I say. But no matter what you do someone is going to make an assumption about you, especially online where tone is hard to read or convey. But I have some intense social anxiety and sometimes one bad interaction can make me want to hole up and never interact with people again.

I'm not beating myself up so much as I just wanna go into hiding over really trivial things sometimes.

...And now I feel like I'm just coming off as being dramatic. I should probably be talking to a therapist about this, not people on Smashboards.

It isnt a bad game at all, it's just kinda mediocre, i just wish they kept with THAT gameplay style a little while longer, looking back it haad potential if the level design was there.

Metroid fans only recently got their series back from the shadow realm. Pikmin fans are in a constant state of waiting. F-Zero fans haven’t been doing too hot for...20 years. More people know their main character from smash than anything else. And those are just Nintendo examples.

Literally everyone else except for you isn’t getting what they want, there’s a lotta folks waiting for their dream game announcements. And (for the gazillionth time) your favorite genres aren’t disappearing.

The issue isn’t that you have issues. The problem is you were acting rude and abrasive when all we’re trying to do is help you not to get your hopes up and freak out when they’re dashed. I know you said you’ve taken measures to ensure that won’t happen but, you have a history dude. Wade was trying to tell you to just chill out, because stubbornly refusing to believe that updates to a Nintendo switch game are ending is not the wave.

No one’s saying don’t feel upset, we’re saying chill out when you’re upset about Nintendo games.
