Truth is, I'm actually really busy with my life. I'm a college student, an employee, and an athlete, so there's not much of a time where I'm not doing something regarding those three matters for majority of the year.

This site has been a nice distraction from all that and a nice place when all said and done, and I'm gonna be a little sad when I see everyone go when it's all said and done.
Pffff

tbh, I spend way too much time on this site for my own good(my 6k posts in this one thread alone is proof enough of that) but work has gotten me away from it a tiny bit.

I don't remember E3 2019 being that bad. Although, I don't really remember anything besides Nintendo and Square's showings so maybe that's problem #1 :p
The only good thing at that presentation (for me) was banjo revealed at the end. ... maybe the FFVIIR demo if it was released then, but that wasn’t a new reveal.

Tbh the only thing I got outta that direct was Banjo too. But I was pretty happy to get that one thing. I look back on that direct fondly, because of it.

I guess it depends on wether you focus on what you did get, or what you didn’t.

All I can think about is how after Microsoft’s many hour long direct with nothing I really wanted in it I had one of my worst depressive breakdowns ever. Thankfully my meds will prevent that happening again. But still, not a fond memory, even if Banjo did come at the end of it. It still reduced me to a blubbering wreck hoping for a PLATFORMER at the BETHESDA conference.

I'm still planning on leaving here within a few weeks after the final DLC.

And as I've said in the past there's like six of you guys who I want to keep in contact with outside of here and keep talking to for a long time after. Plus to the creators out there like Wademan94 Wademan94 and Hat N' Clogs Hat N' Clogs I really want to keep your progress outside of here in your projects when I am done.

This place has also kept me sane during the pandemic so I owe in a way.

Truth is, I'm actuqlly really with my life. I'm a college student, an employee, and an athlete, so there's not much of a time where I'm not doing something regarding those three matters for majority of the year.

I'm a bit envious of that as I'm 24, sitting at home unable to do much cause of pandemic and depression. Meant to be changing soon. And my social circles suck a bit right now.

Well counselling is start next week at least and libraries are open.

Man most of my friends are from smashboards

My life is funny and sad.
I mean online friends are a thing. I'd say the majority of my friends are from here and I've only like two IRL friends who have the motivation to see me.

All I hope is that this years e3 is not another E3 2019. Hope to god.
All I remember from that was tearing up at Tales of Arise getting revealed and getting shouted by my brothers for screaming of joy after seeing Banjo in Smash.

xD I have to admit, I have interacted much more with friends I made on this and other sites than I have done with my ex-classmates that became my friends, I don't know why. I think it's just easier to do? I have no idea, but I don't mind. Though at times I wish I could visit my friends at times.

While I can't say I don't do a lot, I wouldn't say doing all that is healthy for me. The last semester I just finished was just awful for my mental health to be blunt.

I think what’s most important is to put yourself in a mental state where you could (hypothetically) get nothing at this E3 and still be fine. Cuz it’s video game.
I know. I know. Like I said, my meds will keep me out of breakdown town. Even earlier I was only kind of feigning anger after the first few minutes. I just hope I can get a handful of cool things to look forward too.

I bike around occasionally and my job basically requires me to exercise for most of the day, so I feel pretty fit overall.

Maybe I could diet a bit better and eat healither foods, but I'm not fat, and that's what counts :4pacman:

So like, last night, all the big-wig leakermans were getting all coy about the Switch pro, people like Imran and Emily Rogers.

Wonder if Nintendo's gonna dump that news on us soon after all this time, while having E3 focus on games.
A Switch Pro would be the perfect excuse for me to buy a new switch to get rid of the parental controls without having to say that's why I'm buying a new switch to my parents. :warioc:

so ive been hearing about this really good old sonic game that i wanna try, and im sure all sonic fans agree that its the best game. i think it was made in 2006? i really love the camera angles and controls on it; i'd even say that they're the best in any sonic game so far
The game's multiplayer doesn't get the attention that it deserves.

Mostly because people don't realize that it exists, and it is hilariously broken. If you play as Silver, you can grab the other player with telekinesis, and as long as you don't jump (or something like that - it's been a while since I played Sonic 06, let alone its multiplayer, but it's something that you can go a long time without needing to do on many of the levels), you can get halfway across the map, or even finish it, while the other player is incapable of moving.

I’m about halfway done with writing Knuckles’s section of my Sonic Clash story mode, though I’m having trouble thinking of the next two fights and the story that leads up to them. I can post it and Sonic’s section anyone’s interested and willing to help me out

I used to go to the gym every week.

Then y'know... Lockdown hit and my routine is ****ed, there's only so much I can do in a tiny cramped room

But I'm still gonna wait on getting the full vaccine before I go back even if Mop-Head says it's fine.

You just couldn't hover or use other psychic abilities.

Sonic himself was broken too. The yeet jewel and the shrinking one were utterly ridiculous because his meter wasn't properly implemented so you could infinitely jump to skip certain areas and yeet yourself to skip huge sections of the level
