Word is on the street that the author of Berserk apparently passed away two weeks ago. This is now just being revealed.

What I recall is he's been really sick for a long time which is why took it so long for volumes to be published. Prayers are out to his family.

actually Batman used to kill people and half the time with guns quite casually back in the 30s and 40s...but of course as time went by most iterations of Batman didn’t kill (but he did use a gun back in 2018 or so on KGBeast for shooting **** in the head)

the violence is amazing in the show, but the story and character chemistry alone...and especially the the soundtrack. Easily on its way to being one of the greatest superhero shows of all time, and is definitely the best teen hero show since Spectacular Spider-Man

I may have for the most part never been into Berserk but it's still a sad day to hear this, author of one of the acclaimed mangas for its dark tone and violence.

Why this also reminds me I should get back to watching the 90s anime series. I remember only having watched a few episodes at best. Should get around to watching the newer anime as well as the Berserk movies in his honor.

It says so ****ing much about Miura's art when I've seen over 20 different panels of Berserk on tribute tweets in about 45 minutes

we've seen so many stories about how tough it is to be a manga author, how much it genuinely destroys people's mental health and their general well-being. to see miura die from an affliction that's generally caused by stress tells me there's a lethal ****ing issue that needs to change.

Easiest thing for me to do against DK is micro-spacing and grabbing. His easiest moves to spam are really going to be way slower than you if you try to play it cool. Also try to GIMP and bait out antiairs when you edgeguard, if you can catch them after they use their jump, it's almost guaranteed death.

Went to Natural History Museum of LA with my sister today. I'd never been able to go to a place with a dinosaur collection like that as a kid and I'm so glad I finally got to have the experience of seeing all those reconstructed dinosaur fossils first hand. Seeing the fossils for some extinct mammals was also neat.

I'm definitely going to go there again some time, even if it's a two hour trip by bus for me it's more then worth it.
