And yeah, it would be a nice grand finale to wrap it all up. Ultimate had its full reveal at an D3, and it’d end at an E3. They could even do an updated everyone is here trailer.

Still not expecting it, but I won’t be as surprised if it happens.

Honestly, I'm not really concerning myself with who the big e3 character reveal is.

Just gimme BOTW2 news, and I'm happy.

Chief and Crash? Would be fitting, and we still have no clue if the leaked Activision docs are fake.

As much as I'd love Crash, like, REALLY love Crash, Crash has started to feel more and more like a "Doomslayer/Hayabusa" to me as time goes on, namely, a character that everyone jumps on, but ends up not happening.


And as for the other, I'm a bit torn tbh. I feel like Lloyd is not going to be upgraded to a playable character.... but I don't think that means we're not getting a Sword-user somewhere. So far, every returning Mii costume in FP2 has had tentative connections to the character they come with, Heihachi and Min, Gil with Steve, Geno and Chocobo with Seph, and the MonHuns with P/M... so where does that leave Lloyd? I kinda feel like 1 of the 2 final characters will be another sword user, tbh, and if Lloyd is out of the running, I kinda put some chips down on Yuri from Tales of, or Adol from Y's tbh.

OK. A: There are plenty of rumors that NRS is working on a DC vs. Marvel game, which are very substantiated (see Maxamillion Dood's video) and such a project would be an amazing substitute for I3.
B: Why would a movie adaptation mean we AREN'T getting a third game under any circumstances?

easy...besides the rumors of them doing a Marvel fighting game (nothing much about DC despite it being more wanted), there's also Mortal Kombat that still has some sort of remaining attention before they fully move on to DC (or skip 3 to go straight to Marvel)

and with WB Games having to either be shipped off as a whole or have each of their divisions sold separately, some game could continue development while others could be cancelled...kinda unknown what will happen to the games currently in development, but it'd be unfortunate to get all hyped up making a game only to get canned. Tho so far it isn't affecting movies and shows that badly so idk how big of an effect the games will be stuck in

Hopefully it doesn't have any of the dumbness the prequel comics had like Batman making things worst thus making him more like the villain or giving Harley the free pass despite her involvement with Metropolis' destruction.

I'm putting my final stamp on my E3 prediction related to this whole thing. This is the post you can all tag and respond too to laugh at me when I'm either all or partially wrong.

Crash Bandicoot is revealed as FP10. Comes with a free Echo Fighter, Coco.

Microsoft announces a special Switch version of game pass that is powered by X Cloud technology but is not a part of the xcloud program. It's simply the means to get it working on switch.

Master Chief is revealed as a bonus fighter tied to this service. You can buy him normally but you get him for free if you own the service. This will not be the only bit of DLC for the various nintendo games on switch acquired in this way.

Fighter Pack 11 will not be revealed until the September Direct/Direct equivalent. They will be someone from Namco Bandai.

During this event, Sakurai will also reveal that more bonus fighters are coming. Those will be his exact words. And it will mean exactly that. More extra fighters not part of a pass. But countless amounts of internet drama and wars will be had over what he actually meant despite his language actually being quite plane. When this content is revealed he will introduce us to his successor. A person who he has personally chosen and mentored to take over developing Smash for him. Both this game's final additional content packs and all future installments. Sakurai himself will never actively develop another game in the series again. But will always be credited as a producer. Following in Miyamoto's footsteps.

If anything at most I find it more likely if we do get more characters, it's gonna at most be one bonus fighter. DLC began with a bonus fighter, it ends with one. Imagine if this was Octoling. Ultimate began with Inkling, it ends with Octoling.

Yup, I just got my schedule changed for work, and now i'm working this coming friday, and the friday after that.


I was hoping to enjoy my day off work at my work(as a guest anyway), but at least the park that day is only open from 10-4, so I won't be working as long as I normally do.

Alright fine, you asked for it.

CP10 will be revealed at E3, and this will be the only smash reveal. I haven’t deduced who exactly I think it’ll be (other than that it won’t be Crash) but I’m gonna single in on Master Chief. Master Chief will be revealed alongside (or a few days after) XBox Gamepass coming to switch. His reveal trailer will be badass, and it will end with Banjo and Steve giving him a big group hug while he looks embarrassed.

CP11 will be the final smash reveal for Ultimate as a whole, and they’ll be unveiled during a September direct. They’ll be a much lower key announcement, something like Cinderace. The fanbase hates it, and immediately decries Ultimate as the worst game ever made despite all the amazing things it’s given us. And that will end the saga of Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

Honestly, that's kinda how I've viewed the dlc this whole time.

I can count the amount of characters I want that are "feasible" to add to the game on one hand.

OK. Let me break this down piece by piece.

First of all, do we even really know there will be more MK11 content? Like... you'd think it would have been announced by now if it were happening. And if it is then this is the longest gap between Kombat Packs we've ever gotten. Seams a little suspect if I'm being honest.

Secondly, and I'm going to briefly summarize Maxamillion Dood here because I kind of agree with him. NRS loves goofy fun crossovers. They're the people who were like "Let's have Alien and Predator fight each other in our game!" and "Let's have The Terminator fight Robocop AND Rambo in our game!". Knowing them, I feel it's more in character for them to try and get a Marvel vs. DC game off the ground then to just make a standalone Marvel game. Especially with, as Max quoted in his video, how free of corporate control from Disney Marvel Games has become recently, something which started with Spider-Man PS4 and Ultimate Alliance 3 and has continued on into the present.

Thirdly, there were rumors about NRS's next title being a Marvel vs. DC game LONG BEFORE the current wave of rumors. I actually mentioned them as much here back when they first started coming around. Back LAST SPRING. I remember because I was still in my dorm room pre-covid when they first started swirling. And you know such a project would have a really long period of negotiations.

Fourthly, do you not remember how the situation with WB Games was remedied a couple months ago? The announced it was no longer up for sale. Unless this is something new in relation to the whole "AT&T not wanting WB at all anymore" thing. And in which case I don't know why they would want to chop everything up and sell it to a bunch of people. Frankly I think more people would want to buy the whole kit and kaboodle. Especially with how many pies WB has fingers in.

There we go. That's what I have to say on the matter and I very much think you're looking at all this the wrong way and with a lack of information from both the past and the present.
