Really what's happening is that the Smash team is only getting non-Japanese voice actors for FP2 when it's absolutely necessary. While all the announcers need to be back in the recording booth to record new fighters' names:

• has the same voice clips worldwide in ARMS
• has no voice unless you count "OOF" from earlier Minecraft versions
• would suffer from the same problems preventing Cloud from getting dubbed
• is the first time more non-Japanese voices are needed, since Pyra and Mythra call each other by name, and they have different ones in Japan. Not to mention English speakers need to record a crowd cheer for them.

Golden Sun's whole gameplay style heavily depends on being turn-based. It's a massive part of its balancing and works well. It's not based upon a time factor for how Djinn work, but a turn-factor. You'd have to massively alienate players a bit too much to make it remotely works as non-turn based.

Definitely not for changing it. It's fine the way it does it, and does it very well. Even Dark Dawn, the weakest game in the series, had amazing controls(event he ones that used the touch screen) while not being a massive overchange in the core gameplay system(something the DS Zelda massively suffer from and why I can't finish either game to begin with. Touch controls are cool for items and puzzles. They're horrid for movement and don't work at all for proper action elements like swinging a sword in this context. Though they probably are fine for the Olympics games in practice).

Keep in mind when FFVIIR declared they're removing the Turn-Based part, it was met very very harshly. They fixed this by having both options, appealing to everyone. The problem is, GS isn't Final Fantasy. Turn-based is completely ingrained into the battle system. You could make a fine and interesting spin-off, but not a proper sequel at all. We don't need another Nutz & Boltz, after all(which is not a bad game, but it's not a sequel. Just a decent spin-off in terms of gameplay, not story).

Not everything needs to be an Action game nor should it. Not everything works that way. Sometimes the regular style is just plain better and keeps it properly balanced. You also are controlling 4 characters at once(with 8 max) and that's already very difficult. A spin-off action rpg would be pretty cool, but even stuff like critical hits are harder to change up since it's an rng chance and have reasonably long animations(and some are more likely than others to go off. Either cause of the luck stat or the item).

I feel like you overhype Persona 5 S when this has been the standard gameplay for Koei Tecmo's games for years, Hyrule Warriors, Fire Emblem Warriors and One Piece Pirate Warriors all share this game fighting style.

i'm moreso talking about the time freeze for persona spell casting. Age of Calamity (the only other warriors game i've actually gotten to play) doesn't have that.
