Galaxy Railways?
ehhh, I'm pretty sure the company I'm thinking of is an american one, sorry.

The company I'm thinking of makes stuff like this:

...

you know what, I somehow just found it. Who know searching "Batman Toy Set" was all it took.

But what I'm saying is, we used to live in a world where we had no proof for either. But weather or not we could or had described it yet had no berring on weather or not it existed or not. It was always there doing it's thing.
What you're saying - that proof isn't necessary - precludes obviously absurd results. Why not believe in unicorns, or vampires, or Frankenstein, then?

Your remarks that our abilities to provide proof have changed over the years are meaningless, because what I am proposing is that UNTIL proof is found, one should not believe in something.

It’s okay, Penguino. We must let it be.

and what I'm saying is that weather or not we choose to believe in something has no bearing on weather or not it is real.

the idea that science has already discovered and quantified everything that exists and ever will exist is kind of silly to be honest.
**** it I’ll get sucked into a snake argument one time so I can see why people seem to love doing it so much

science discovering everything is of course not true there are many things science is still looking into. But science has found enough truths of how the human and other organisms bodies work as it’s something readily available for them to research. And it is fairly easy to know that the brains electrical impulses and such are not released into the either creating a phantasm or an approximation of one that sometimes bumps into a lamp or some such.(that was a joke I don’t think you believe in ghosts in the literal scenesmore that echoes of the human mind are rebased upon death but the same logic dictates that is also not true)

I initially stayed getting into this because I have no room to talk as a firm believer in God, but I'll just say that Snake's belefs in ghosts are harmless at most. Let the girl believe, no need to shut her down over something as simple as ghosts, something that a lot of people believe in. Like, now I feel like you guys are just getting on her ass just for the sake of getting on her ass.

Yes, this is more or less what I believe. But I do believe that the traditional "bump in the night" specter COULD exist if the human echoes were somehow energized. But your average ghost just simply can't do that so we just have residual echoes. And even if you did energize them it would be less like grandpa walking the earth again and more like releasing a rabid dog.

Also... this isn't going to be much of an argument. Cause I ain't mad. The topic could be dropped right now and I really wouldn't care. So.... guess you won't get your experience this time, lol.

I guess, but unproven and unscientific beliefs do real harm to the planet - see anti-vaxxers and climate-change deniers - and I think it's best that we combat this sorta thinking whenever possible.

On the other hand, I guess you could say the same thing about kids believing in Santa.

Who knows?

You're equating anti-vaxxer and climate change deniers to belief in ghosts and Santa. They are not the same at all.

Ghost hunting TV shows are the ****ing scam.
I remember someone bringing up one with iirc Zack Baggins.

They went to the site of the Dybbuk Box, which is apparently a haunted wine box recovered from Nazi Germany.

They got an ordained pastor on site and asked him if they believed it was haunted.

"Nope."

"So, you do believe in ghosts tho, right?"

"Not really."

They hurried him off camera asap lol.

It's not like I'm saying "ghosts are real so you should do XYZ". That would be ridiculous.
