First of all, hello and hoping ya'll are doing well. Still being on my abscense from Smashboards but today at college something surreal happened. Something I felt the need to pass by and talk about because I still can't believe It.

There's this girl, she is called Tay. Today she has been wanting to be near me a lot, she showed me some K-pop and Fallout stuff on her computer. We had some cool and calm talks about our hobbies (I did show her almost my entire collection of stuff and every copy of DQ8 I own). She then asked me if I had ADHD, to which I replied yes and she said back "me too", even got to tell her about the day I walked through my entire city.

Last thing I know, I have added her to my phone contacts and she now feels I'm close to being a "really big friend of hers"


So, after all that info-dump, I'm right here thinking to myself "wtf, if I was at high school this would be the point where half of the class would be laughing at me for trying to vibe and have a calm time with anyone. Why the **** is everything going so smooth in college???"

Idk what is happening Next. Will I keep being a big friend of hers? Will something bad happen which makes her hate me? Will this somehow evolve into a relationship of all things?

I don't know man, but It baffles me how I'm just like three weeks into college and already things are going this well.

Didn't know you were on an absence from the forums dude. Things seem to be going sweet for you, (and hope the idea of ours as mentioned on Discord happens as well).

Making friends can be a one in a billion chance. Glad you found that, kinda like me and my best friend IRL (who as mentioned yesterday, finally got a Switch!).

Feels likes tough times but trying to pull through, given the sickness. Same with all of us.

:O Wow, that indeed sounds surreal! :3 But glad that you two seem to have a lot in common! I would advice not making negative scenarios in your head, that's going to stress you out without realizing it. Just let things take their course and you'll see how things will play out as time goes by. Do no expect anything from anyone, do not get hopes too high. Just as a way of caution.

Wanna know what I love about the run-up to Christmas the most?

The weird foods supermarkets, cafes and all bring out. Some taste like disappointment but some are pretty good.

About to eat Pigs in a Blanket flavoured Crisps (Chips for my American friends) just to see what it is like.

Report for DMC1 Hard Mode:

I reached mission 7, I died a couple of times, but I got lots of yellow orbs by tracking back where the blue orbs previously were, including redoing secret mission I already done. Speaking of secret mission, I finally did all the one I missed, including the infamous secret mission 4.

Now I just gotta get the blue orbs I missed in regular gameplay & I be good for DMD.

Also, Sparda is quite useful for some enemies, especially Marionette, Plasma & if I feel confident, Shadow. Still won't use it alot probably, but i'm glad it's not totally outclass by other weapons in every situations.

Finally, killing Phantom by just SPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN-ing/Vortex into him in the hallway is hilarious & feel good.

well we've already seen him with Timmy Turner in both dimensions, so 2D Jimmy wouldn't be the worse thing (I still want that season 4 tho...so much being left out)

It is surprising how, TMNT 2012 aside, there hasn't been a fully perfect quality cgi show from Nick since Jimmy Neutron (sorry Barnyard, but you weren't top tier programming memes aside (needed more Bessy)), so hopefully Rugrats fixes that problem...idk about Kamp Koral tho...

out of the 3 Nick movies to come out recently, I felt like Rocko’s became the underrated one. Arnold was the finale everyone waited decades for while Zim...is mother ****ing Zim

Was there ever an artist or band you tried listening to, and just never got into them, then all of a sudden whenever you hear their music you can't get enough of them?

For me that would be Mastodon. For a while everytime I'd hear them I'd just be, "meh"...but lately I've been enjoying them quite a bit. The past couple years I have been pushing into the progressive metal genre so perhaps I've gotten myself used to their style.

COVID is a virus right? Viruses are always mutating. It’s one reason the Flu vaccination helps some years and then other times it just doesn’t do anything. As long as it’s handled accordingly we should be fine.

I just read the first issue of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin. Between that and the Batman crossover, I want to see what modern TMNT comics are like.

Speaking of Nick shows, I hope that the Invader Zim Netflix film was successful enough to warrant more projects for the series in the future.

It's still such an underrated gem, IMO.

Pretty much yeah, I've also posted them on my DeviantArt account (MikeSpikester11). Lost Tapes as you know is a guilty pleasure of mine, quite a fanatic of it and wish it had continued. As low-budgeted, corny, and cheap it was.

It probably won't happen but I'd love for a revival to happen notably purchased by NetFlix but with a bigger budget (Better acting, more locations, and better costumes and CGI) and longer running time (40-45 minutes).

Still waiting the day for Angry Beavers to get that so-called rumored ReSpooted which there's a petition of that going on for fans of the show such as myself.

Also in case, TMNTSSB4 says anything, regarding the reason for it being canceled due to that unaired episode of breaking the 4th wall, a reminder that was 20 years ago, this likely isn't the same Nick as it was two decades ago.

With all these revivals of cartoon classics, I don't think it's that out of the realm of possibility although if anything I'd only want my favorite childhood show to return for 50 episodes or more, and I'd be fine with that because of quality.

Guess I just have to wait and see I guess.
