Sigh Aint that the truth?

Maroon 5 is a band I've come to strongly dislike over the past couple of years. I dislike Adam Levine's personality and the vibrato on him isn't even interesting to listen to on many of the songs. The songs just feel like they blend together, or are just weird and out there.

I just don't get the hype. If you listen to em, hey do whatever. But for me? No. Heck no.

Also, Levine ripping off his shirt at the Super Bowl halftime show was such a cheap gimmick.

How many of you guys still actively play Ultimate? If you don't, when was the last time you played it?

I still play it from time to time but I spend a lot less time with it then I used to. My interest in Competitive Smash has been dwindling since Covid came along and the instances within the competitive community a while back.

I still enjoy the game, it's just that even if you ignore those bad eggs that surfaced a while back I don't want to deal with the kind of annoying fandom too much, especially since it's centered around Twitter these days. It feels like people are always whining about characters and demanding nerfs or stage bans and scrapping together lazy tier lists instead of trying enjoy and improve at the game.

I probably watch more competitive matches online than play at this point. It's still the Switch game I have the most hours in, but I don't have the time/energy to devote like I did with 3DS/Wii U. If the cart is already inside my Switch, I'll usually just mess around in training mode; playing against CPUs isn't as interesting to me anymore and I'm not one for online play.

Pressure easily gets to me so I tend to prefer team based games. Uprising Light vs. Dark was my jam back when people still played their 3DS.

Just recently got Genji's Halloween skin as well, so now I have all Halloween skins once again. And the cool thing about that:

Aside from 2nd year where I missed Symmetra and Reaper, I've succeeded at getting every Halloween skin before it ends, including first year when duplicates could still drop. And it's awesome to see that now every character in the game has a Halloween skin, as the Halloween skins are my favourite set of event skins.

I think the last time I played against a human was in March or something. I mostly played Ultimate with my coworkers during lunch hour, which as you can imagine stopped being a thing early this year. Since then, I booted up the game again when Min-Min came out to look at her animations/combat behavior, but didn't play any humans. I just play Street Fighter most of the time if I'm gonna play a multiplayer title, and usually play single player ones.

I'll behave myself no matter the outcome of the election, but I will say that I really dislike one of the candidates. If he wins I'll probably have to disappear from here for like a week.

It doesn't help that I'm on the brink of depression right now, but to be fair that's most of the time.
