Just did a few Deviot sprites. First the ones without wings, and then with wings. Do note the main issue was proportions. It's not meant to be super good detail at the moment, since it's still a WIP.

So, I never saw this channel before and got curious about their videos, and looked in the comments of their Revenge/Creeper Aw Man cover (pretty good), and looked in a couple others, and...

Apparently this person is the same as a certain shark girl? And it’s apparently not good to flat-out say names in this situation, which is why I’m being a bit vague?

The voice sounds similar, if not the same...Hmm...

Yes, it's Gura, that's obvious. What becomes dangerous is when people know their real identity. For example, Ina's voice actress is a well known artist, but people have so far been respectful to keep the two personas separate.

Agreed on all counts, it was just not a good plot point and did more to hurt the movie then help.

And yeah, Newt was another character that felt poorly used in the sequel. Unlike Mako's case I do think he could've worked since one of the concerns in the first movie was that he was a little too involved in his work and could fly too close to the sun, but the way it was presented made it more comical and silly then serious. It should've been a dark moment for the character to see him fall under the kaiju's influence, but every time he was on screen he was more like a punchline then a fallen figure so I wasn't able to get into his character and was more annoyed with how he was done.

Oh, okay. Figured it was after that but y’know, just curious and stuff. People in the comments seemed to imply it wasn’t good to say her name when talking about her being the same, which is why I was vague, but maybe it just depends or something idk.

Of course, I won’t go around saying they’re the same or anything, I don’t really care and was just intrigued (plus it doesn’t matter of course), and maybe there’s something I’m not aware of or not thinking of...

I didn’t know Ina was a well-known artist, though I did know her art she’s made looks really good; ‘guess I’m out of the loop :S And I respect keeping their real identities separate, of course; I can imagine crazy fanboys doing stupid stuff if they knew, and Hololive no longer supporting them, plus the anonymous/privacy thing we all tend to have in general...

Pretty much you're dead on. A JP member of the 5th Gen of Hololive, Mana Aloe, had her real identity leak, and the result was... exactly as you said, rabid fanboys doing stupid ****. She "Retired" from Hololive, but a lot of people are still pissed at the rabid fanboys, and Hololive itself for not stepping in sooner to help her.
