The four horsemen of "Let me hit you! For the love of God, stop moving!"
:ultpikachu::ultgreninja::ultjoker::ultinkling:

Honorable mention::ultsheik:
I fully acknowledge that I’m bad at smash, and I’m okay with that. I don’t mind losing.

But if there’s one thing I cannot stand it’s when you can’t get a single hit in. I get this close to an aneurysm, every time it happens.

I know we're not talking about it anymore, but one thing I've kinda always wanted to have is a bookshelf, just not filled with any books, just complete collections of books from my childhood.

Like, I read A LOT of books as a kid. So much so, it became a running joke in my family, to the point one of my first usernames ever was "Noseinabook123", and it would be just nice to have them sitting on a shelf next to me should I ever feel nostalgic.

Course, do to a lack of funds and spacing issues I can't exactly have that right now :drsad:
This made me remember that i really need to buy a bookshelf at some point, i have some comics, manga, artbooks and players guides just lying around and i really should have a place to put them all.

Beware for if you ever visit Alaska that you watch out for the Kushtaka.

You never know the local people you're talking to could in fact be one of them in disguise.

Fear the Kushtaka. For they could be responsible for the disappearances of people in the Alaskan Triangle over the years.

So decided the anime films to round it to 25 I've watched. Right now watched 22 anime films:

So two coming of age and a movie continuation of one of my favourite anime of all time.

Not bad. Didn't want to look for another Studio Ghibli film not to mention that I've watched all six of Makoto Shinkai's films so wanted to look further.

Fear and beware the Kushtaka! The merciless ottersquatch.

Ponyo was my first anime film.

It's also one of my favorite films ever.
The movie is precious, goddamnit.

Precious.
I've heard it's pretty good. Already watched a good chunk of Ghibli's library so wanted to look beyond it again. Once I've reached past the number I will 100%.

Also, probably cannot beat these three for Ghibli films to me:

From Up On Poppy Hill
Kiki's Delivery Service
Whisper of the Heart

You all should watch these three. Totoro, Mononoke and Spirited Away are great but these three have been pretty fun. Plus two of them show a more grounded side of the studio.

It's been a rough day, but I'm relearning some Ultimate stuff for funsies. Sephiroth tech is pretty neat.

SnakeFighter64 SnakeFighter64 did you know that you could fight the shadows during the Thief Challenges as long as you snuck up on their first? I’m only just finding out about this

I figured that out on my own during like... the first one. You can also snipe them with your gun and do battle and it will still count (at least on easy) because that doesn't raise the alarm. It's literally just don't raise the alarm.

Final Fantasy 8 is off to a slow start. It's interesting to see how the remaster has HD textures to make the models look like they belong in the early PS2 but the background looks so dog****. The gameplay is interesting though.

I know it’s supposed to be only four, but :ultsonic: also fits.
A trait among the Sonic series for the various animals is they can usually take one or two hits max anyway, even if it's more of a platformer element since Super Mario Bros. This however does extend to a lot of later games where Sonic doesn't get extra health whereas other character types do. Assuming he doesn't have a regular health bar, he's pretty easy to KO if he gets hit.

This is actually taken into account in some of the animated adaptions, as he can rarely take hits, being a glass cannon. Outside of Super Mode anyway. Sonic X plays with this, having him decently tough, but anybody that can pack a wallop legit hurts him hard. He almost died at the end of the first season, enough that Eggman tried to stop his own machine from killing him but couldn't. While it's not spoken in the Dub, we directly see the same thing in action. It's just presented slightly more vaguely cause it's 4Kids.

Sonic Boom(show to be clear) has him more tough than usual too, but he doesn't generally try to tank anything anyway. He dodges a lot of moves. I feel they kept this trait well in Smash... as annoying as it is. Oddly in the one fighting game that has a proper Defense value, he has high stats overall(albeit, his actual healing is absolute crap, and he has very average moves even then to offset it. He is the Mario of the game essentially. An average moveset that does its job, but isn't unfair or too weak). Shadow even has less attack strength than him to quite a degree, but his moves are way better in return. Sonic Battle is very strange in that regard. The most average stat-wise are Amy and Cream, and Cream is one of the best characters, while Amy is maybe slightly above average at best due to some decent ranged moves(not all Shot moves are actually good).

So far, when it comes to losing Rings, I can't remember any game beyond Shadow's where they only lose a certain number at a time. Whether it's to present him as tougher than your average animal character or just a unique trait for the game alone is hard to say. The game does love having a lot of enemy spam at you, so it does legit help, but still.

Thats what I ended up doing when dealing with the challeng in the Abyss...Makoto’s was hella easy in comparison by just sneaking around all MGS.

Never forget the day 1 propaganda of Inkling being the best character in the game.

They lied to me.
I'm actually really happy Inkling is the way they are: They feel really nice and balanced for right now. Kill problems can be annoying, but I can appreciate that there are ways to overcome it with technical play. It helps them feel rewarding to play for me.

all that remains is to create myself an Alice in Wonderland and get them sneaky sneaks in...then I can take a rest from Strikers...until I do a Persona 5 marathon later on in life anyways
