Watching Friday the 13th Part 6 - it's the second Friday the 13th movie that I've seen, and while it lacks Crispin Glover's absurd dancing (which was the main reason why I watched part 4), I've read that it takes more of a horror-comedy route (or at least that it's not pure horror), so I'm giving it a shot. (I'm not a huge scary movie fan, but I'm trying to ease my way into the genre)

It's one of the best Friday the 13th films by far.

There's plenty of genuine horror, actually likeable leads, and some scenes that are clearly meant to be cheesy on purpose or otherwise don't take themselves too seriously. There's plenty of comedy there, but it's usually of the subtle type.

Nice! Back in 2013 (?) they ran a gamestop event for a shiny set of the Sinnoh legends. I still have them, and I try to use them whenever i need overpowered legendaries for something (i used the dialga for most of the SWSH postgame).

Next horror film in my October marathon was Phantom of the Opera (1925). I must say, I'm so glad I watched it. It's such a good movie. I was gripped nearly the whole time, and for a silent film that's impressive! Now I just gotta watch the legendary Broadway play... not sure when that'll happen lol

Sometimes I often see the opinion that Megaman Star force 2 is kinda bad.

I don't know if this is a hot take or not, but Star force to me is the one Megaman subfranchise with the most consistent quality, with each game just being all around better than the previous one, ending it off with Star force 3 which was the best in the series.

Same. Got it in each Gen 6/7 game. In USUM I got it as early as possible, around the 2nd/3rd Trial, and nothing.

Would love to grind for it again in Gen 8, especially if the Crowned Tundra rates are as high as they are, but it's Gen 8...

Sword/Shield are one of those games where a small part of me will always 'want' to try, because at the end of the day, Pokemon is a fun series, and it's a series I love.

Then I remember they're the same price as Odyssey/BotW/Ultimate, plus tax.

And then I remember that the arguably best parts of it are locked behind a 30 dollar dlc, which, hey I have nothing against DLC, and much prefer DLC going forward as opposed to 3rd versions, but when the base game is so bland that the DLC is the only part that interests me...


And again, I really, REALLY am not a fan of Crown Tundra's "EVERYONE IS HERE!" gimmick for Legendaries. The Birds/Regis/Swords? That's cool. All the broken **** that'll make online an unbalanced mess? Jesus christ Lando stay dead for one goddamn second please.

It's the best controlling of the three IMO, but I like Sunshine for not being so floaty compared to Galaxy.

Floaty or not, I'll take what I can get out of Galaxy. Sunshine had me stressed out with those Shadow Mario levels and that damned boat that lead to the final boss

I got those down pretty easily, the key with that stuff is just patience and taking your time. With Shadow Mario, the key is to get the perfect distance for nonstop spraying to take out a majority if not 100% of his health. And the boat is just taking your time with the spraying and understanding the mechanics of the boat steering itself.
