So have you all seen the speculation on Victini?

Do you think it’s truly hidden in Crown Tundra? Or cut data?

I really hope it’s actually there and has some hidden way to get it. It would be a pretty crazy surprise in a modern Pokémon game if the speculation is true.

Hence why it's one of my favorites. I tend to alternate between it's OST and that of SPM's whenever I'm in the Paper Mario mood.

You can hear Bonechill's for much longer if you go for the challenge of using Thoreau instead of Luigi. Honestly I'd actually call him a fairly challenging boss without the Super Jump lol.

The devs did not playtest Luigi lol. Probably why they locked him until near the end of the game, but he just breaks any sense of difficulty the game may have had.

Though Bowser is ridiculous too, but at least he's slow, large, and... can't climb ladders for some reason.

On the topic of SPM's soundtrack, Gloam Valley is the best song in the game. At least, non boss theme that is.

There’s data for everything needed for it outside of a spawn rate but it’s listed as a static encounter and it’s levels align with the other legends in CT. It probably isn’t available but it seems incredibly close to being able to. It even has its shiny lock disabled.

Also, one thing I enjoyed about the Paper Mario series is that across the games, Bowser had been getting progressively less and less evil. He goes from big bad, to goofball, to guy who reluctantly teams up with Mario, to guy who wants to know when the next Mario Kart tournament is and doesn't even know why he's fighting Mario when unpossesed, to guy who just wants the best for his son and admits he's nothing without Mario. Doesn't even bother fighting him in ToK.

Well, except for Sticker Star, but then again, everyone regressed in that game.

Let me tell you, as a big Luigi fan, it was weird going from TTYD to Sticker Star and not hearing him utter a single word, which is weird because Luigi was always the comic relief character. Like, I'm glad ToK made him the arrogant loser we know and love, but it took 8 years to get back to that. Same with Bowser, I remember popping off with Color Splash because he actually spoke a line (and he only spoke like 10, because he barely did anything). Peach, however, has yet to get back to that level, and I don't know why they're neglecting her when the 3/4 of the characters have been more or less fixed personality wise.

Now, on the SPM story... yeah, I agree. It had my favorite set of characters too, not including the Pixls.

That said, my favorite character, Natasha (?) didn't do much compared to the rest, which is a real shame because she was the best imo.

It has a static encounter coded in but it’s not set to spawn or appear anywhere I guess, so maybe leftover/unused code like he says or maybe a future event.

They fanbase's low point was with Color Splash, which was basically the exact same game but better.

And the Tanabe inferviews, but at this point, we know damn well it's Nintendo and their creative restrictions bs thats pulling the strings on why Paper Mario is what it is now. ToK is still considered good by the majority tho.

Multiple people over the years have tried to explain the problem with Sticker star but it just doesn't come across.

Imagine if your playing the newest Pokemon mainline game and instead of it being an RPG it's a dating sim.

The tonal whiplash would be comparable.

So, can someone explain how Nature-farming works for Dynamax adventures? Because from what I've seen, you gotta go through several raid battles just for a random legendary, and since you can't bring your own Pokemon with Synchronize, I assume that the nature of the Legendary is random?

Alright, so I looked into it a bit more and it's apparently a bug in the game. Basically items in the stash and inventory AND the world itself share the same memory. So too many items can overload stuff. I'll see if selling most of the items in-game will fix that or not. So the issue I'm having might just be developer oversight.

Again, this just means I have to sell most of the in-game items, In theory to get the memory cleared up, then warp to an earlier area to clear the items in the level itself to clear even more space.

wtf kinda crack is the card design team over at Wizards on this is just straight up a stupidly strong effect in commander

It has flash too so as long as you hold up mana you will be able to stop at least one search if you play it right which is huge in Commander

I have a theory for that one. You could catch Victini in BW, and it had a shiny lock there. Maybe they just didn't bother unlocking it, because you can't get it anyways

that is pretty dumb reasoning IMO. I'm not a fan of shinies personally but I feel given the chance they should unlock shinies whenever possible, for those that care about that kinda stuff.

I think that's why a lot of modern post gen 4 legendaries have bad shiny variants.
Because they aren't supposed to be shiny so they shiny lock them.

I used to love playing Pixelmon back in the day... looked like **** because my computer was(and still is) **** but I liked it.
