Does Defense Curl give you a Roolout boost if you're already at +6? Doesn't the whole move just fail?

Well, you should probably be using Defense Curl + Rollout after like three or four turns of Protect Subbing anyway, so unless you're really lucky you're still going to get the power boost for that Rollout.

i dunno, but you could probably focus on breeding the perfect smeargle, sticking it in the daycare to level it up, and then sketching the moves in a double battle (with your two pokemon holding Lagging Tail/Iron Ball to make sure that the right move gets sketched)? ExpShare shares EVs too, so you don't have to stick it in battles it can't win. Looks like 5th Gen pokemon learns the moves by level-up, so no need for stupidly complicated move breeding...

and i don't own a copy either, lol

I liked gen three because the legendarys were cool and Tropus was bad *** bannana neck.
I'm totally doing a solo-Tropius run through Emerald right now, btw. And I did a Cubone one earlier this week in LeafGreen. http://tinyurl.com/3ugvc5m

In the Cubone one, I named myself "Adams" and my rival "Jefrson" (because Jefferson wouldn't fit). In this one, my name is "Teddy" (like Teddy Roosevelt) and I named my Tropius "Big Stick."

History nerd mode ftw.

Anyway, potential third gen remakes is somewhat exciting to me because I love third gen. On the other hand, I'm worried that there's not really much to remake...and I worry that it'll just hinder what it already is. Hopefully if they do remake third gen, they'll wait a while, 'cause it feels like HG/SS just came out (even if it was over a year and a half ago, that's not really all that long ago as far as game releases go).

Yeah, a RSE remake won't really have much aside from pretty graphics, unless they can tie in Dream World somehow.

They did a really good job with the HG/SS remakes IMO, so I'd be excited to see the next remake. :)

Ice Beam

Ate through everything :awesome:

I want to do a Chimecho run-through one time.

pelipper learns shock wave? man too good.
Yeah, I always find it funny what awesome, random moves Pokémon can learn. Like when I did a solo-Jigglypuff run and learned that Jigglypuff can learn Flamethrower, Ice Beam, Psychic...all sorts of crazy stuff. And Cubone can learn Flamethrower and Ice Beam too, I found.
