I was also expecting the nay sayers to outweigh the yes but it doesn't really bother me. It's not like you can vote against someone on the ballot, only for them, and since we have a lot of supporters voting there that's all that matters!

I like your attitude about this and I think you make a great point. Some people aren't big on the idea of Daisy in Smash. I feel like it's best to just try to take their criticisms in stride and not let them dissuade you from supporting the character you like. I don't think negativity towards any of a potential ballot fighters' "competitors" is going to do much to persuade Sakurai and co. I doubt they'd see much of that anyway, since, like you pointed out, you can't vote against someone on the fighter ballot, only for them.

I think it's totally okay for people to express their opinions on what characters they'd like or not like to see be in Smash, but I feel like it's also worthwhile to put things in perspective and consider the feelings of those characters' fans a bit when people do that.

As for the Rosalina vs. Daisy stuff, I like both and I find it frustrating sometimes to see some of the sort inconsiderable behavior from fans of the two of them. Rosalina has gotten a lot of exposure lately and it seems fair to me to argue that it's gotten a bit excessive. That said, I'd much rather Rosalina and Daisy get attention than see just one of them become more prominent in Mario games. I think it was cool that 3D World had Peach and Rosalina playable and I hope that's a sign that we see more playable female characters in future main series Mario titles. I also feel like Daisy is overdue for an appearance or a starring role in a Mario RPG. I'm honestly kind of surprised she hasn't had one yet.

Same here. Why would Luigi end up with Peach? Even if Daisy is restricted to spin-offs only its obvious even the EAD doesn't have plans of having him with anybody else, and no offense to the Luigi x Rosalina fans, but why would he end up with her? Rosalina is the mother of the cosmos, immortal and would be too busy with that to be in a relationship, another thing I can't fully grasp despite explanation on the subject is why some fans ship Waluigi x Rosalina? Just because there both tall and lonely doesn't mean they would be a good match, and besides they have never interacted in anyway in the first place.

Thanks SSS, turned out as great as I expected. The fact that it looks close enough to the cake I had this night night is scary. Daisy's smile is as cute as ever while she's having fun on top of that sweet dessert.

I'd say Mario and Peach are the most "implied" couples from Nintendo, with the whole "save the princess" routine, they may just don't wanna get into semantics with the lovey dovey stuff since, "kids game" or something, and focus more on just the game itself, being a platformer were you play as Mario.
