Phase 10, San Japan, Hyli's Tournament, Steakfest 3. Those are the only things I'm interested in at the moment. Mashfest as well. The rest I most likely won't do.

However, it'd be pretty awesome Nike, if we held a Smashfest during the Apex Livestream. We could watch the stream while playing matches or something.

Also, let's not forget MLG Dallas in November.

I still think the Crew Battle would be awesome if we just cut it between even and odds. 1, 2, 5, 7, and 9 vs. 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10.

Group 2: K Prime (C), Nike, Pyledriver, JUJ, Kyro

That's how it'd look. Changes would be made to the teams depending on who does/doesn't go.

Got rid of GAMME and MLG because we're most likely not going to either, obviously.
APEX is in the same boat. I doubt anyone from SA is going aside from possibly Greyfox.

Also, for me, it's either Phase or HOBO. Since we're all making it a point to go to Phase at the moment, I'd rather Phase over HOBO. I probably won't attend another HOBO until September anyways. Lack of funds will make any trip out of town difficult for me.

I went through all the tourneys since the Gamelot monthlys and I cant help but realize how many people have entered everything, at LEAST 100.

Doubt anybody is going to HOBO since it's the same weekend as July4 stuff.

San Japan should be interesting. I doube alot of us will go, but we should get numbers from everybody who enters to get them interested for a possible Steakfest3. Like all the people who came for the con and randomly entered. We should've did that at Mizumi and I regret it not happening.

What's up with MMs and Friendlies?
Xyro and I have decided to try something new this summer to encourage smashers to travel to HOBO/Phase tournaments. We are aiming to make HOBO 26 and Phase 10 as big as possible with NO SIDE EVENTS; the only events will be Brawl Singles ($10) and Brawl Doubles ($10/person). What this means is there will be plenty of extra time to sit down and play friendlies or do MMs with people you don't get to play with often.

I'm totally down for both of these. If you do have a tournament like that, lemme know. I'll be sure to make it for sure. It's good to weed out those who don't and do, since I'm sure it's always fluctuating.

As for Steakfest, I'm good as long as it's on a Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

For the crew battle I think that the PR should be divided like this: ABBAABBAAB
Team Espy: 1, 4, 5, 8, 9,
Team KPrizzle: 2, 3, 6, 7, 10

Espy, Nike, Castro, JUJ, Paw
Prime, Ed, Pyle, Ethan, Kyro

That way each "block" [Espy, Kprime], [Nike, Morningstar], [Castro, Pyle].....
Alternates a higher ranked player between teams.
Plus I really like linear transformations....


But then again... this may not work best for us (we would be putting a lot of Snakes on one team; and thats not aesthetically pleasing), but it is something to think about.

Well, of course I want EVERYBODY else in the San Antonio scene in the battle too, I just think the PR should be divided like that, then use a random number generator or whatever archaic methods you want to assign everyone else teams.

Weird random announcment

Kyro and his two friends came over for an hour. The same guys who went to Tofers smashfest that one time. I told them about Pik A Nik and there going to it most likely now.

They also mentioned that there's about 10ish people playing brawl at the downtown library every day of the week. The library has 2 tv's and wii's and let peolpe come in to play and it sounds like theres always an average of 10ish people everyday.

So tmrw I'm gonna go visit the library. If I do I'll hype up Pik A Nik, get a bunch of numbers, and try to introduce them to smashboards.

We need more numbers so our events become even more awesome.
