So far we know that Pilotwings and the FE Arena are playable in the demo. Would have liked if people had rushed to Pyrosphere, if it's even available.

Ugh, it's really too bad the 3DS version doesn't come out till October (which is kinda a ways off from summer btw) because it means that Smash will still get a least a couple more Directs and thus there are plenty more reveals to be kept hidden, including Ridley.

I'm holding out for a surprise during/at the end of the Invitational in 25 minutes, but chances are we'll still be left in the dark regarding our dragon's fate.

Sakurai could have tried to be a little more sneaky, like, removing the YD from Wily's castle and then putting Pyrosphere

The Japanese version comes out September 13rd, so if nothing else we'll know for sure then.

Just got back, don't really want to spoil things for myself yet, but when does/did the QA session occur? If not yet, there's the slight, yet not very likely chance, Rid's role could be revealed there. And stuff.

Pyrosphere not being in the demo means nothing. I mean, aren't there other stages being randomly excluded, too?

Also, don't wanna ruin ALL DAT SAKURAI BOSS HYPE when everyone realizes how underwhelming Bossley (and bosses in general, for that matter) is.

It means nothing, but a very specific kind of nothing: nothing announced about Ridley anytime soon (asuming they don't suddenly turn it on). So it's still interesting nothing.

Someone said there will be a couple Directs until October, but if Nintendo keep following the pattern, there is only one Direct until the release. Anyways, I want to see what characters will be revealed later today. I have no hopes for a newcomer, let alone Ridley, but who knows? Since it is a highly anticipated newcomer in the west, maybe they decided to show him in the presence of a lot of people during the Invitational.

How many recently announced stages are in the demo? They may have just updated the E3 2013 (which didnt have Pyrosphere since it wasnt announced at the time) to not waste time.

At Nintendo's treehouse stream, there was a moment that I saw the recently announced FE stage: the Coliseum

Have you posted anything that hasn't involved whining in the last few hours? I see you posting constantly, but its just pessimism and vibe-killing. You've given up hope. We get it. But others on here haven't, so stop dragging everyone down. Ridley's odds have not been affected in any way, outside of no new Metroid game (meaning no game to build hype for). We won't know anything for sure until Sakurai decides its time, or the game comes out and we figure it out on our own. Go play Project M right now and make that Ridley character yourself.

There's a difference between pessimism and realism. The Gematsu Leak is becoming more and more irrefutable as time goes on, cementing that the roster is going to be one big missed opportunity. I'm sorry that I'm smart enough to move on to a new cause, one that actually has a point, but it's my right to be an asshole as long as it's not directed at other users.

Go preach to someone else. I'm not the only one who's lost hope. I'm not the first, and I won't be the last.

I can see why @ UltimateWario UltimateWario is so salty(the picture pun is real.) If the Gematsu link is all we have to look forward to, then I'll be rather upset. The only newcomer that made me go "Holy crap!" was Greninja (Megaman was cool, but eh.) and that was more for his presentation and personal bias.

My only hope is that it doesn't have ALL the characters, since Rosalina was not on it...

I would point out that Ridley has been deconfirmed for months and the "false hope" is being artificially created by people who refuse to accept that. This bitterness was always going to be here, but at some point you are going to have to come to terms with the fact that regardless of what you might think, Sakurai does not believe Ridley is possible or practical as a playable Smash fighter.

Just because the Gematsu leak is true doesn't mean we won't get anymore newcomers. That has already been said on this thread multiple times.
