He's just stating he finds your actions and statements contradictory, which there is some merit to.

Hey, come to think of it, I can make another political comparison related to Ridley here, just like I did with false equivalence earlier.

On the spectrum of Ridley support, desperate YouTubers can generate more and more attention for their awful channels among anti-Ridley crowds by shifting their views more and more in the anti-Ridley direction. It gets them a great deal of notoriety among their 'base,' so to speak, but no one takes them remotely seriously once they finally attempt to switch back and talk to anyone but this 'base.' Then, when things don't go their way, they mope and complain that people "don't understand," all the while refusing to lay in the bed they've made for themselves.

I haven't followed the past few pages, but if I had to bet on their contents from context clues, that would be it.

Going by the videos, however, he seems to be quite passionate about Ridley, or more specifically, about how Ridley cannot be in Smash. If he truly doesn't care much for Ridley, he should have made that much more clear to his audiences, as most viewers would believe him to be adamant about the idea of Ridley being in Smash. And we know what the result of that is.

Hasn't it been one of those days already with the commotion we had going on a few hours ago? It can't get much worse than actually having someone coming in and talking like they're still on youtube...and using the term exposed in a sentence as anything but a punch-line.

Well, as long as people act maturely like they're supposed to, I see no reason why we can't have a civilized debate over Ridley. So, perhaps you could start by elaborating your stance on Ridley?

I could easily take one look at my inbox within the past three hours and easily point out that he cares...he cares enough to leave terribly structured replies on a video at least three weeks after we said wait until E3...arrogance can be quite hilarious...that or short-term memory loss. And trust me...ever since his master went back on his statements, almost every Ridley detractor has been going back on their word...maybe they realized how stupid they truly sounded.

Guess you guys were right...people will jump ship...although some of them are clearly jumping a bit too early for comfort.

My sincere apologies...but the rest of today is basically going to be what I deal with on a regular basis. Just kind of think what my inbox looks like on a daily basis...it's kind of like watching a nuke go off from a safe distance...nothing bad happens to you or me, but everything in between gets reduced to nothing.

I could easily take one look at my inbox within the past three hours and easily point out that he cares...he cares enough to leave terribly structured replies on a video at least three weeks after we said wait until E3...arrogance can be quite hilarious...that or short-term memory loss. And trust me...ever since his master went back on his statements, almost every Ridley detractor has been going back on their word...maybe they realized how stupid they truly sounded.

All right, that's a start. So why would his proportions be an issue? Tons of characters have been resized in the past, each one of them having their own unique proportions. Why is Ridley an exception to the rule?

Ya know I was feeling really bored and decided I wanted a nice laugh, funniest thing though, I immediately thought of this channel. Now while I would love to just point and laugh at your terrible points, I found myself feeling bad for you. So I decided that I would lay down some facts as to why Ridley most likely won't be in, and why Mewtwo (if you even still believe that) won't be in.

Also try to actually read it instead of just boiling it down to me being a kid and disregarding what I say, because that only makes you look like a kid.

1.Proportions (no matter how much you don't want to believe it) matter and are important to keeping true to a character. The reason why Olimar and Bowser are able to make it in was because even when re sized they stay true to proportions. Olimar is small and chubby so even though sizing up a character automatically works, he gets extra support from is body shape, same with Bowser who while big his size has varied in different games. He is also big and bulky so sizing him down he keeps a fairly consistent shape. Ridley on the other hand is big and skinny, this would not look good sized down, but the opposite he would look terrible, also Sakurai has said himself that if put in the game, he would have to make him much slower than he already is and does that seem like something you want, I doubt so. (yes this is a copy paste of a comment I already made, but I doubt you read it so here it is again).

2. The shadow of Ridley in question is obviously a stage hazard because in the exact same direct they showed that they were stopping Pit from gliding in order to balance out the fighter, meaning all other flyers/ gliders are no doubt having that change as well ( because why would they stop Pit but not stop anyone else). And as I recall Ridley was not touching the ground that's for sure, and he managed to stay in the air for some time, longer than most fighters have been shown to go for.

3. Also I came across that size comparison video you made 3 months ago, needless to say is was laughable. Yeah some Photoshoped size comparison image automatically means that is the size he will come in ( although that size is also awkward to look at anyway).

4. Mewtwo was in one game, Jiggles was all three, nuff said.

So yeah I'm sure all that was just TL DR for you, but if you did read it let me know. Although you probably disregarded everything like I said not to and wrote me off as a kid again didn't you, but whatever ignorance is bliss I guess, good day

1-This is the same thing as the size argument, Sakurai killed it
2-They removed gliding from Pit to represent his Uprising version, are you telling me they removed Peach's hover too?
3-The size looks perfect, Sakurai would make it way better, besides, there are a lot of fan-made mods(no, not the one form Shokio's video) that makes him looks reasonable

Detractors going back on their previous sentiment that Ridley would not be feasible are altering their perspectives to include the evidence that the Direct provided; however, that isn't REALLY the case, it is because "our master" decided to retract his statements? Correct me if I misinterpreted something. And before you say, "I said most," I am just going to just call it a hasty generalization fallacy.

If you are referring to Olimar and Bowser they could be resized easily because of there shape. Olimar was sized up and sizing up a character is almost always going to work, but he was also short and stubby giving him a fairly so his shape will remain fairly the same, Bowser also is bulky and fairly stubby, shaped sorta like a circle, thus sizing him down allows him to keep his shape. Ridley on the other had is tall and lanky, he is also very skinny, making sizing him down difficult if you want to keep his proportions in tact and still have him be fairly taller then Samus.
