Let's just say that if you watched my video there's nothing I didn't already cover, so no. Size, humanoid talk, bias use of spin-offs for Bowser, misinterpretation of Ridley's size, and more painful talk that makes me literally question the level of average human intelligence when I look at the comments section. Although it's unique that when comparing characters, for the most part, he used a form of Ridley that wasn't even Ridley (Neo-Ridley from Fusion, a fake of a fake)

Edit: The lazy sack of crap can't even read my whole response so he wants a summary...I'd make an America joke here but I think it's unwarranted as I know many fine Americans on here.

Considering the fact I'm already despised by the Jon X Felicia fanbase for literally proving everything they stand for wrong and basically making their meager existences worthless...I'm used to it by this point.

Well, that's not a problem really, seeing as youtube overall isn't exactly the most respected place for Smash Speculation, one of the worst if not THE worst in fact, the only other contender is Miiverse's Smash Community.

The first thing I'll do if it happens is make a video basically putting together all of Shokio's terrible points before pulling up footage of Ridley's reveal trailer with super triumphant music in the background. Maybe throw in a Jontron part in between to really drive it home. Regardless, I'm going to cry tears of joy when it happens.

Frankly I'd forgotten everything after the Alpha Blogg, but looking over a walkthrough I suppose you're right. Nevertheless, I spent way more time being annoyed in the water than I would have liked before getting the Gravity Booster, activating all those switches to open the path. Maybe I explored off the path more than I should have, but I don't actually think I did anything unnecessary before getting it. Do you not have to go into other rooms before getting the Booster? Because I spent a lot of time exploring chambers off that main room you're describing.

I'd like to say this...when I eventually get into Videogame design in the next few years, I will say that I want to create a small side-project styled like that of the "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World" side-scrolling beat em up game, and basically call it "Rise of the too-bigots". Take about five-six different people on this forum, turn them into playable characters, and basically go through different levels and take on different bosses based on the biggest Ridley detractors on the internet, Shokio being the final boss. Basically, we're on a mission to free Ridley and the proper logic on Smash 4 from the too-bigots who've taken our favorite Space Alien hostage thanks to their terrible logic and brainwashing the masses to believe the same. With all that, this 8-10 level game features special attacks and fighting styles for each playable character. And basically at the end, Shokio and the too-bigots are defeated and Sakurai comes out and gives Ridley his invitation to Smash Bros 4 to be a playable character...I just thought this up out of nowhere, but would be hilarious.

@ Hotfeet444 - I posted earlier to day about your video (and also posted about it in the comments section on the video page).

Could you explain and cite where and/or how you came up on Ridley's proposed heights relative to each game he's been? I'm sure is has to do with recognizing Samus's official height and making comparisons, but it would be good if you gave tangible evidence to support those figures. Not as much for me but for other people who would watch the video.

Truth be told I posted the video for some people and that question came up pretty quickly. I think it's a fair question.

When did Sakurai have a playable version of Ridley ready but then scrapped for brawl?

Didnt people say he was a planned AT at first..........

Oh, dear... I managed to sit through that whole thing...

I see that he still hasn't noticed the major flaw with his Bowser argument: Bowser is that size almost exclusively in his playable of appearances, where of course he would be resized for that. If Nintendo really cared about keeping Bowser's size and "threatening" nature consistent, then they wouldn't have wanted Bowser to be playable in other games. Clearly though, that's not the case. Again, the difference between Bowser in Ridley in this regard is that Ridley has never had a chance to be a playable character due to the Metroid series not lending itself to the kind of spin offs that the Mario series is full of.

I also really hate how he constantly says "that wouldn't work" and treat it as fact. No one can say whether or not a character can work aside from the developers of the game themselves. None of us really have any idea what the process of making a Smash character is like, so just spewing out "that wouldn't work" is a terrible argument. Then of course there was that assumption of his that they could have just put a little more work into his Brawl boss model to make it a playable character. I realize I just said that we don't really know what making a Smash character is like, but we DO know that there's a lot more to a character than just having a model; specifically, tons of animations for tons of different attacks, movement, grabs, shields, special attacks, Final Smashes, special effects... They couldn't have possibly just shrunk down to Brawl boss model and made that into a playable character. It would have taken them a lot more time to pull something like that off, and it seems that they were sort of lacking in time.

Well, that's my mini rant on the video. Someone seriously needs to explain that Bowser point to him...
