Important The Ridley for SSB4 Thread - End of an Era

Well, it's the end of August, so we're overdue for reveals. We've been getting a 3 characters a month since E3, and only got this month. I'm expecting to see some reveal trailer(s) or even a Direct on the 8th or so, since HW did a Direct a week before release.

Ridley Sizes up the Competition!

Only question is if Nintendo would troll us hard there by revealing all the characters we know already. How long are we going to have to wait until Sakurai is like "OK, Ridley is finally in the game lol"

Say the leak is true which more than likely is, how much charcacters is that confirmed? but i feel that is not the entire roster if so then that would mean no real fan favorite is in the game.

It is the latter. and Yeah, Ridley knows that, but he finds it annoying because Roidley acts like a naive child. And Roidley admires Ridley at the same time he fears him. Ridley never recibed such affection from someone in his life (not that he remembers, and I'm not getting Rosalina into this....that's another story.), and If I recall how I started the "interactions" between them, they started violent, and then it lowered, to now only being Ridley getting annoyed by Roidley, and wishing to kill him, but because of the same annoyance, he forgets the killing thoughts and only wants him to be as far away as possible. Roidley doesn't want to be alone, and even if Ridley treats him like sH#t and hurts him physically with his attacks and psychologically with the insults, he doesn't care, because when he is with Ridley, he has the feeling of being safe.

Likely? Unlikely? Impossible?

Outside this thread I see most people call him unlikely or not happening. As far as the Smash community in general goes, the consensus (as I understand it, please don't shoot me) is that Ridley was more or less disconfirmed in the April direct when he was teased as a boss. And again in the magazine.

To be perfectly honest I can't blame anyone for thinking that.

After the leak, a few people are saying he might be in (but are skeptical on the text leaks) but the rest of them are saying he's sharing the same fate as K. Rool and isn't going to be in.

Outside this thread I see most people call him unlikely or not happening. As far as the Smash community in general goes, the consensus (as I understand it, please don't shoot me) is that Ridley was more or less disconfirmed in the April direct when he was teased as a boss. And again in the magazine.

To be perfectly honest I can't blame anyone for thinking that.

That is true, but I have seen more and more people believing Ridley is actually playable recently. Even GameExplain was open to the idea, mainly due to that which we shall not talk about. The fact that Ridley still hasn't shown basically confirms in my eyes that he actually is playable and Sakurai is just waiting to announce him, hopefully alongside a kruel krokodile as well... :D
