Between Ness's shirt, Wario's Eye, and the Nintendo 4DS confirmed by the "leak," I think it's safe to say Ridley's not been budged by this.

To be fair, it's not wrong for those to reevaluate their beliefs when coming across new info presented to them.

The problem is that people are coming to the "it's fake lol why are guys even entertaining this/it's real lol you're delusional otherwise" conclusions too prematurely, which always ends badly and make people look silly.

Don't see how. Most leaks don't come from the developers. Yes, it's important to be wary of information coming from an outside source but it doesn't automatically make it illegitimate.

2.Dark pit is just pit flipped with dark hair

But it's missing some obvious newcomers, G&W's hand is clipping over Wario, Wario is missing a pupil, Duck Hunt looks a little fake, some of the stages look like they were just clipped from past Smashes and Smash U, has some other flaws, and Dr. Mario returning instead of Mewtwo? Really ? If they tried a bit harder then I might have believed it.

As much as you're just trying to show some "proof" from the leak, I think you should stop posting this here and post this in the Leak Thread. The mods are probably pulling their hairs out with all this commotion.

Any leak involves Ridley. If he's on it he's confirmed, if he's not on it his chances drop.

I don't think we should discuss the leak here either, but it definitely effects Ridley, and every other character for that matter.

I does look legitimate, there are a couple of fishy things here and there but it could easily be explained because its a testing build. It seems we may have been wrong and sakurai is truly an asshole.

Er... no, not exactly. A leak by itself is neither real or fake alone. No leak is arbitrarily fake without evidence or because Sakurai didn't say so himself.

Considering Smash history, Ridley will probably have a tough time. He'll be very easy to combo.

I thought it was fake because of Krystals voice actor being in the game, yet she was nowhere to be found and I thought R.O.B. was Rob64 and that didnt make any sense. My only plight against this being real is my disappointment.

At least nowadays, given the talent of some artists and the newer more advance programs available, it's much easier to make a fake leak that can look as legitimate as possible than it was a couple of years ago.

Well... if this turns out to actually be what we get, I might just lose faith in Sakurai. Not because I don't like the newcomers - DHD's design there isn't terrible and Bowser Jr's grown on me - but because of who he didn't include. A full year of teasing to this... Blech.

I mean, give me sone of your optimism, but none of the points people have thrown makesnreal weight.

Deded height was ok, even someone pointed it out with a screen (believe me, I do analytical drawing, and there wasn't anything wrong with the DDDs pics)
Mr game and watch is really wario jacket, you are just filling the picture due to how perception works ( i have also worked on a museum full of optical illusions)
Shulk render is profesional quality and also is extremly consistent with teh rest of teh renders (i will omit that i have been in a small classes of texturing modeling and 3d rendering)
bowser junior render isn't the same as people posted like the NSMWU, the hair is a safe indicator (plus is he in some kinda of green pipe?)
Ness model is also more detailed than brawl (you can look at the hair polygons) and the little we can see of jiggly model isn't anything ive seen before.
Ganondorf render isn't in the same pose as the Twilight princess render
Duck hunt dog (god dammit teh most annoying character at videogame history... really) is also very consistent to teh rest of teh game, specially of teh likes of ROB
the only reason it doesn't make sense to group clones together is due tradition, and that isn't set in stone... in fact makes more sense this way imo.
If this is fake, it was done by a profesional, there isn't just mad photoshop skills here, but also modelling and designskills, and usually that kind of profesionals have better things to do with their time. the only one i see being able to pull this stunt are project M guys, and i don't see them doing this kind of stuff (plus they would certainly have put mewtwo and IC)

what really baffles me is no mewtwo but yes bowser junior...or teh dog,,, maybe bowser junior will be representing mario kart?
