There probably won't be that much. This is more of a fan anniversary than other official dates this month. So if nothing happens oh well. Something's gotta happen soon though. We're getting closer to the danger zone.

So, I have to hope this week because it might be too dangerous after.

You can always just stop looking at info once leaks come out. I managed to survive all the way to the Robin trailer on nothing but official info. I still haven't heard any reasonable leaks. It's going to be easy enough to just go back to watching the Pics of the Day and trailers.

At least you guys are all getting your character in-game. I'm still teetering at the edge of my seat in fear that Isaac won't make it.

You make an interesting point. But wouldn't there also be a positive to revealing him near the end (or at least as one of the final reveals)? I totally understand what you're saying, and you make a good case. I'm just wondering if this could also be a good thing if Ridley is revealed past this week, to create even more hype for this game.

I've said before, but I don't think we're going to have another real leak. Gematsu was as close as we got, and it isn't even credible anymore. Sakurai knows who he can let in on on what, what will be revealed will be revealed when he wants it to. Then again, the x and y game testers leaked gameplay and Pokemon and they were trusted by Nintendo, so I guess I'm a hypocrite...

It really doesn't matter because Internet (just who isn't aware of that clip now?). Any leak would be too bad for this.

Oh I forgot to mention it: the same goes for me and that might be me getting worried even more.

The least I got is actually more than what I wanted as minimum so no disappointment. I'm still going to heavily question his decision if it was not a playable character tease for Ridley. And that's from a global perspective, not as a Ridley supporter. That would literally be like deconfirming meta knight after the mii potd instead of confirming him.

Someone, I'm scared now...

If not leaked, that's VERY good.

If high leak possibility, VERY bad.

Unless they manage to not distribute the game until September. Even then, reviewers get a copy I think around 2 weeks before? So, if nothing this week, it's dangerous to not get anything each day from now on.

So, depends on when events will occur.

I wouldn't be surprised if they started making their own (completely fictitious) leaks around the time the game leaves their direct hands and goes to stores.

The most reliable leak we've had so far collapsed in its second incarnation. Trust whatever "final roster" leaks you get. I'll be waiting for the actual reveals. When you get your leaked roster with no Ridley and give up hope, I'll be watching the trailer.

Seeing 'Bikini Suit Samus' on the Pic of the Day was pretty funny. Either he's setting us up for something BIG, or if he's just being Sakurai.
Regardless, I love the Brinstar stage, especially the music! To me, that really had a heroic feel to it, and I'm pretty used to it by now. The only Metroid stage that I don't like is Brinstar Depths... *Shudders* Man, that stage was nightmare fuel.
-First, Kraid shows up and messes everyone up by making the stage rotate.
-SECOND: The music was so atmospheric and horror-movie like, but what's really creepy is the heartbeat and the organs in the background... AND

THIRDLY!!!! ...I always thought Kraid was rising out of a sea of blood.

Forget disconfirmed by leak. He's in. Too many obvious hints, too much demand. He's in.

I don't want him confirmed by leak (fortunately, he won't be, as I have an inherent distrust of leaks). I want to see him in the trailer. He's already "confirmed" enough for me, a leak one way or another isn't going to change my mind. Only official word.

Wait... If Pyrosphere is on the Wii U and Brinstar is on the 3ds this could mean three things: Ridley is playable, Ridley is a boss on both (unlikely), or Ridley is only a boss on Pyrosphere. I don't see him being on Brinstar because that stage is way too small for a boss and already has lava hazards. Did Sakurai say anything about bosses being on both versions when he posted the Yellow Devil on the 3ds?

If Ridley is indeed a stage hazard, I feel it would be unfair to make such a popular villain exclusive to one version.

To those who thinks i made him too big for Ridley - he is just a little bit too big actually since Samus perfectly fits under his hand while he is doing that and she isn't a lot smaller than Bowser. And even if you will ignore that, i scaled Ridley to fit the stage, so, his animation would actually touch walls. So, his size is perfect at least for Other M. Anyway, there was a traitor who said it is fake, so, our plan is kinda...well...duh.

xD I honestly think Ridley would like that PotD....

Nah, he would like it if there would be dead Samus. Or if he would be in it revealed as a playable character. Even more if he would be killing someone on that PotD. EVEN MORE if his victim would be Samus.

I doubt we will get Ridley tomorrow or anything related to him, but i would more than like to eat those words if i am wrong about that.

And everyone who dislikes Norfair or Pyrosphere stage is a traitor since Ridley is here in Super Metroid and Zero Mission. So, those guys must be promptly shot and disowned from this thread. By the way, these suits are from Zero Mission. I love the fanservice, and having alt outfits like this really gets me excited for this game. I think if Ridley's in, his alts might be his different forms rather than just palette swaps. One very happy Metroid fan here

Unfortunately for those who hate Roidley, they will be redesigned to look like Roidley (mostly proportions, so, duck-beak surgery accident isn't going to happen with them...i guess...) or don't exist as alts. Omega Ridley and MP3 Meta Ridley won't change much, fortunately for you.

I'm actually sorta expecting a gigantic Reveal Trailer/Smash Direct for every newcomer left to be revealed, or at least a bunch of Reveal Trailers released before or at launch. It would be a shame if the rest were leaked by someone anticlimactically, as opposed to a humongous official reveal right before release. But you never know, they could always muck it up; this is Nintendo we're talking about, they've definitely had their fair share of crazy blunders in the past. I just think that they've grown out of that phase already.

What would be even worse though, is if there aren't any more newcomers at all, but I don't think that's the case, what with Sakurai's "reaching the bottom of the barrel" post.
