The PotD's this week were awful. :/ Nothing even involving Riddles. I am hoping for a Nintendo/Smash Direct soon D:.... has anything from the Coro-Coro said anything about Ridley?

Again, I don't really think it's really fair to say that. We're lucky we even get pics of the day.

This week we got:

• A new stage.

• A new item.

• We found out that there are Pokemon that can buff players. We've never had that in Smash before.

• A new way to get trophies
• A new assist trophy.

That's pretty generous. I don't know a lot of other games that do this.

I'm sure we'll get a character soon though. A General Nintendo Direct is bound to show up very soon.

I'm not trying to be a wall that denies you, but he is just dead, that is just a fact. It was directly stated that he died for good on Zebes.

It hurts to lose a character you like very much, when Wesker in resident evil died it ruined the series for me and it just doesn't taste the same anymore.

Nah, I'm good. I'm just being silly trying to think of ways he survived. Ridley may be dead, but it's not something I'm hugely broken up about. As long as we continue to get awesome battles against him, he can be from an alternate dimension for all I care.

In fact, now I want an alternate dimension Ridley. Dangit.

I'm actually kind of happy. Usually fanbases get way more protective than I was of a beloved character if the story kills them off. I have heard some insane theories tossed around before to justify a character's survival. Nice for the Ridley guys to accept reality.



If we get Ridley, we're going to get all his other incarnations as color schemes. Why not have his roar change as well?

Fear not. The awesome blue and black color scheme from Fusion will get the awesome cry from Fusion. So the best color gets the best voice. What do the other options matter?

Lighter shade of purple getting SM voice, the more mechanical looking getting Prime voice. Huh, that's about it
