i really love these alternate colors for ridley.BOOP. Recolors.
Anywhosen, from what I've seen of Zamus in Sm4sh kinda makes her look Bayonetta-y... Which is neat... That's really the only thing I like about her... I would maybe even prefer Dark Samus over ZSS; unique, villain, ACTUALLY DEPICTED BEING ABLE TO DAMAGE SOMETHING.
my favorites are the bottom three... dragon ridley, demon ridley, and... uh... albino ridley.

...2-3 games only. 3 if there was ending with ZSS image (if that suit counts as that). 4 if we will count original Metroid AND its remake, but then we will count NES Ridley too. Samus just without power suit is not ZSS. Blue suit that she wears in Other M and Zero Mission is.
So, Ridley appeared in more games than ZSS. Samus appeared in more games that Ridley obviously, but not ZSS.
I like Ridley-X and 2nd recolor more than other. Red one is worst.BOOP. Recolors.

I'm willing to wager that Sakurai definitely has a trick up his sleeve now.
Seriously, putting Prince Sable and Takamaru as Assist Trophies means he at least KNOWS what the fans want.
Take a Character a big group wants, make them an Assist Trophy to please them, and maybe upgrade them to a Character the next game if they have more potential.
At least they're in the game in more than a Sticker/Trophy.
As for what Ridley has to do with this, it's pretty obvious.
Sakurai never mentioned Name, Role, and only showed his Tail-Knife floating at 5km/h for one frame.

That's because the general repping is no longer limited of an SSE mode.
I could write a full essay on how they over centralised brawl on it, but this should be enough:

I have basic programming knowledge and it sounds so lazy.
That's actually the only reason I was happy for this mode being deconfirmed, not the mode itself.
That's also a good reason to expect mewtwo.
Ridley being almost confirmed is another proof of this.
And of course I lost the meaning of disappointment since that stage reveal.

I dunno, Samus was always pretty sexualized when she wasn't wearing the Power Suit. I mean, your reward for beating the games quickly is usually just Samus in a revealing outfit. It's not like it's a new thing. I can see why ZSS's more recent appearances would annoying (mainly because they're more prevalent in recent games) but I never thought it took away from the fact that she was a space bounty hunter who fights space dragons and giant brain monsters.
I still think it would have been a cooler design choice and reference if she was wearing the Space Jump Boots as ZSS but eh, the heels don't really bother me. Most of the female cast in Smash Bros. wear heels to the fight anyways.
But still, just having Samus and Samus again is really annoying as far as reps go. I could see ZSS getting more love in the future and people having less problem with her if we happen to get Ridley to provide some more Metroid representation though. I think a lot of hate she gets online from Metroid fans stems from the fact that Metroid is vastly underrepresented.
Also, those palettes. I love them all. Gimmie. Although a part of me really just wants Neo-Ridley to be an alt. Or even a Final Smash where he grows much larger, and summons X Parasites that float and move all around the stage. I just love Neo-Ridley.

I kinda considered Suitless Samus Zero Suit Samus, as the primary purpose of the costume is to be form-fitting enough to fit under the Power Suit. So the Zero suit could be a bikini, a onesie, or a shapely bodysuit.
It's not that different, is it? Ridley's been a cyborg, a clone, a mutant...

Zero Suit can't be anything that Samus wears that is not power suit. It is that blue suit and only it. Would you call Samus' pajama a zero suit? If no, then you shouldn't call everything she wears under the Power Suit "Zero Suit". Just like Varia Suit is only orange power suit and not just suit she wears before she gets gravity/dark/light/whatever suit.
Still, it is always same thing unless it is Roidley or Ridley-X. Oh, and Roidley and Ridley-X are separate creatures. Roidley crumbled into dust few seconds after you saw him from left side (you can see him before you're supposed to by walking into a certain room after level 1 doors are open, but you will take damage from low temperature and you can't damage him).
*SSSSKREEOOOOOOOOOOOOOONK!*
Roidley: "My ears! I can't even hear myself!"
It will still have music and other SFX that he doesn't needs.
I want that roar sound and Roidley's roars too.

As Bagan stated, I want it without nasty little other sound effects, I like Neo Ridley's theme, but I want to try making videos on youtube and use that roar

No. Her jammies would get caught in the folds of the Power Suit, and that would be very inconvenient for her.
I mean, unless they're latex PJs or hug her body tightly enough to not be an issue...
This issue right here? This is why Samus is naked upon death in the Japanese Super Metroid. Completely unimpeded free movement.

Ridley is an awesome character, and I agree that Smash needs more villains, its just that I really don't know if he can ever be in Smash Bros, without doing an injustice to his character. If it were my dream, then Bowser, Ganondorf, King DeDeDe, Wolf, Wario, King K Rool, Ridley, and Mewtwo would all be playable... but sadly, we could very well get no new villain newcomers this time around....

Why thank y'all. The white one is more-or-less based on Nintendoland's ever obscure "Ice Ridley", BUT OMG I NEVER THOUGHT OF BLUE-EYES WHITE RIDLEY. The green one is supposed to be based on Zero Mission's Ridley art, but I 'spose it does look kinda generic dragon-y. And yes, I suppose Redley is a bit... Bland? I wanted to make it ALL red though to base it on Super's Ridley art, plus make it look... demon-y, I guess.

See? When a character's position is at all unclear, and fans are getting hyped, Sakurai answers.
He's only ambiguous when he's teasing characters that we have a reason to be hyped for.
Because they're in the game.

And that is ignoring how Captain Falcon looks like. Of course. He is so manly he could kill you just by staring at you with sheer manliness, but no one cares. But when someone says something about ZSS' HEELS, which guys wear too since well i don't know...Ancient Egypt's time. Hell, even STARSCREAM from Transformers Prime has high heels and he is a GUY. And a giant robot that is at least 5 million years old. Those heels don't even shoot missiles or act as jet boots or something like that. They are just there. This whole thing reminds me of reaction to Sonic Boom designs. And just reaction of many Transformers G1 fans to ANY changes to transformers.My opinion on the heel rage now that we are talking about it
She could configure her suit to cover them so they would be covered in armor. That would look funny.
She isn't. That was only in an early version of Super Metroid before that was replaced by what is now in Super Metroid.

Really? Forgot about the Nintendoland stuff. It wouldn't have been the first time a character had an obscure color swap reference. Just look at Wire Frame Mac and Golf
If you want to fix up the Red swap a little more, why not make the wings more yellow or orange? The edges of the wing are a little lighter as it is. That should help it from looking "bland" as you put it. But I can see what you were going for before.

I'm honestly having doubts now that Ridley is anything but playable. This latest "correction" disconfirm is just too fast of a fix by Sakurai. Ridley was teased as a boss how long ago, and there was no such tweet? How can anyone say he's not in at this point?

And I REALLY hope we get our precious space dragon before release, imagine if the games come out before his reveal and then the detractors will just laugh at us because he wasn't revealed, they would be wrong, yes, but still, we have been ridiculed for too
