No he doesn't...Pikachu has the headband from Emerald...I highly doubt they knew about Emerald when they made Melee so how can it be the same?

i was thinking it went down due to the fact that peaches final smash puts everyone to sleep?
i highly doubt sakurai would add two characters with the same final smash effects.

Why? Ike's and Link's are reasonably similar. So are Sonic and Pikachu's. Mario and Samus are also reasonably close, the list goes on. There's only *so* much you can do with a Final Smash, and although they aren't *exactly* the same, they rely on similar, if not the same, mechanics.
Also, yes singing is important to Jigglypuff's persona, but she can utilise much more than that. Why make her Final Smash an overpowered version of one of her regular moves though? No one else has, really, except for Ike but then again you can't do as much with a sword as you can with a pokémon. She could have some sort of high-pitched sound attack, rather than one that makes everyone sleep, considering she can do that already in her regular moveset. Peach's Final Smash should have no bearing over another characters considering the similarities other ones already have.

wait going back to the falco krystal starfox thing. what makes you think olimar is in?! all he does is summon pikmin...and animal crossing isnt gonna have anything more then an AT at the most, and thats obvious! all you people are getting optimistic about those kinda characters Krystal's chances are high because Sakurai really liked the addition of Krystal into Starfox! she's pretty much in...more info has been leaked about her then any other character that isnt comfirmed. use your freakin brain man

To begin with AC Can easily be formed a rep on the staarting roster (Unlikely at this point...) And Olimar got 3 Mentions in sakurai's journal -_- (+ He is very popular unique and very important + Miyamoto also asked and mentioned about sakurai putting him and many want him.) I Was never saying krystal was out but i was saying that falco's chances should be lowered since the Starting roster is very "Limited" And even if krystal is included on the starting roster Starfox can easily only get 2 reps being as small of a franchise as it is....Of course i know that Krystal's a shoo-in -_- I Was argueing about him moving falco down since falco has overpopulation against him etc...
. (Which has to do with the SF Series and whether krystal is an unlockable or starter.)

Wow where on Earth did you get the pictures of the characters who have yet to be announced brawlers?
The ones of Olimar, WW Link, Ganondorf and Claus all look legit, to me at least.

I would remove that "(updated regularly)" part out of your thread title, since this was last update on 11th November.
Anyway, your list is good. However, why is Claus yellow when he's at 80% and Isaac is green and has 80%? I think Isaac should at 76%, since I think he has more chance of becoming an AT. Black Knight shouldn't really be on the list, because from the looks of it, only 1 more FE character's gonna be PC for Brawl, and Marth and Michiah have good chances. Mii should really be No.50, because I doubt Sakurai is going to add them in Brawl, though they would be cool. And AC Human should be on there, since the AC icon is on the site, and I'm sure the icon's there for something else. *cough*AC*cough*Human*cough*

Issac has a better chance of being a character because a major character from a minor game beats a minor character from a major game. Also just because there is a AC icon doesn't mean they will get a character.

There isn't now. Stafy was confirmed as an AT along with Waluigi today on the DOJO.

As for the new entry, I nominate Animal Crosser. Yes, just because there is an AC icon doesn't mean they'll be an AC PC, but if there's a stage, an AT, music, and an item from the franchise, why not a PC too? Plus, I'm pretty sure Animal Crosser fits the red rule.

well I made a quick patch that should last for at least today. Sorry for the absence but I have busy on my own smash forum site with podcasts, blogs, videos, music, chatboxes, as well as trophies titles for our new smash quest forum (coming soon). I will ad the new character soon as well as reboot all the non confirmed character pictures butI won't be here as often before (smashboards is starting to become scrub central with all the noobs and trolls that come here). i would appreciate it if you would add these characters. No offense to you, but I disagree with where you put Bowsr Jr. He would be a very probable character. And if Dr. Mario's teken out (which is very probable) then that would give Bowser Jr a spot.

Why Shadow? Young Link is now considered to be WW Link, just so you no. Bowser Jr. does have more a chance, so I agree with you on that. You say the overpopulation rule is against him, but Mario is the biggest series in this game and it's obvious they will be getting more reps than the other series. It's not that hard to beleive.

OK. I believe Bowser Jr has a great chance. Diddy Kong bassiccally replaced Dr. Mario right? But Brawl's gonna be better than Melee so Bowser Jr. will be the added character. So they have the same amount of Mario characters in Melee plus one.

Captain Olimar's "in" now I guess. Lots of chars were above him. Part of me was honestly expecting him, the other part thought it'd be too good to be true, but it IS true.
