It was a great read. It's definitely grasping at what it really means, but it was good.

I've read those, they're pretty good.

My favorite interpretation of WW came from a friend of mine. He explained that WW's point is that you don't have to be born a hero (after all, WW Link was just some kid). Looking at it that way, WW is a refreshing break from all the heavy stuff about destiny Zelda tends to put on us.

Well...He was born a hero; a descendant of the older Link. I guess you could change it to be "you don't have to be born an OBVIOUS hero"

I could be wrong, but I don't think any relation was ever explicitly stated. Ganon did say, "You are the Hero of Time reborn," (or something to that effect), but that's kind of vague.

Well I can't prove it, but it's heavily implied the Links are all related spiritually to each other. Same with Zelda and Ganondorf.

Well, the Zeldas have to be related, they're part of a royal bloodline. And isn't it always the same Ganondorf? I was under the impression that there's only one of him, and he just reappears from time to time.

There's just two Ganons, but yeah; his spiritual form just chills when his body is killed then is reborn.

Poor Twinrova...

it's heavily implied that WW link has no blood relation to OoT link, and you have to think it's kind of unlikely that he had kids during the incredibly brief amount of time that he existed outside of his own time

and if we take the hero's shade in TP to be a past link as many theorize, it makes the whole reincarnation thing a little more tricky. if we use that as an example, the second ganondorf probably more or less inherited ganon's evil spirit, but isn't literally the same soul

The "Hero of Time reborn" quote was actually mistranslated by NoA. In the Japanese version, Ganondorf only implies that WW Link is truly a successor to the HoT, much like a artist's student might be viewed as a successor to his master.
