Sorry about that lol, well there was a big tournament on Saturday in Birmingham but for now there isnt going to be any big tournaments going on. However there will be little event going on a peoples houses over London where a few smashers will meet up, what area of London are you from and it will make it easier for us to help you find who lives near you.

Not really but people always challenge people for money so you can still leave with a decent amount of money anyway lol.

So in the tournes, how much money is the prize usually?

depends on the size of tournament but for the largest ones we do, its about £5 for singles and prize is based on the total pot split into:

1st 60%
2nd 30%
3rd 10%

regional tournaments may or may nor have entry fee/prizes but all national ones do.

I'm thinking of hosting a tournament in Southampton on one of the first two weekends of March. I'm just trying to find out if anyone would be interested. Should be able to provide housing as well with so many student houses. I'm just trying to find good dates at the moment though. So I was thinking 7-8th or 14-15th, one of those weekends, thoughts and comments appreciated

hey hey, easy new guy. you're not gonna get a tournament every week.

Generally big national tournaments are every 2-4 months and regionals are in the range of every 2weeks to once a month.

Why not try and speak to a few london players and see if they can play this week
end or something.
