So... This wasnt full tourney or anything, but did anyone watch esam's game as samus against Larry lurr? Esam wrecked him as samus, then switched to pikacu and lost.

I'm actually pretty happy about this tournament, I faced a lot of great players in MU's I'm not used to, and I even managed to take a game off of our current contender for #1 in state against his Diddy.

As a note, both LL and the U of M tournaments were customs legal, I however opted to use default Samus for their entireties regardless. Count them or not, but I figured that had to mean something. Didn't included the latest LL since I used mega bombs. I also apologize for the late reporting.

I figured I'd put this here. Some folks have been offering advice on my Samus game in the video thread recently and I brought her out in my most recent tournament.

Notes: I use Zelda primarily but pulled her out in one match in doubles. Furthermore, my Zelda was getting wrecked in grandfinals of singles so I pulled out Samus and went 3-0 with her. Thanks a lot to the Samus boards for helping improve my Samus game and thanks to Samus for coming through for me when it really counted!

Ya Mario beats me up as well as good falcons. If u'd like we can spar I've yet to fight a tough samus. Not cocky just sad truth :(

Got my first meaningful tourney result today!

SGT. Ghetto
29th November 2015

2nd in amateur bracket (3rd place in pool, not enough to advance to pro bracket but got me into amateur, which they called "youngbloods"). My Samus went on a good amateur bracket run until I got trounced in the final by a seriously legit Shulk. I did use my Yoshi for some pool matches though.
I guess that puts me 18th overall, don't know how many total there was.

I have placed well at the past to CoMo monthlys but there were only about 10 players at each.

I lost to Bane, who teamed with Aki, both going to grand finals in doubles with double Rosalina. Both games went last hit last stock against Bane, just couldn't seal it.

Went 1-2 against PhoenixDark who is Pittsburgh's #2 PR player, a Sonic main. Ran Samus the entire bracket, didn't use anyone else. For how I felt I did, I came very close in both sets I lost and easily could have gone either way.
